Nukes Are Confirmed to Exist in Iran

Today President Obama made a speech at the UN where he directly revealed that we have known of a full functioning nuclear bomb plant in Iran. It is roomer and supposition no longer. Now the trick is to get China on board in condemning Iran at the US and it looks like China will finally be cooperative. Of course this writer has been warning that we as a nation have been under-rating Iran's nuclear capability as a possible problem. So you're wondering "OK, who are these people at the Federation who told you this?" Only my hair dresser knows for sure. Clearly it's time to exercise the Israeli option and have them take out Iran's nukes in a bombing raid, if they are up to it and we aren't. I suppose that way they can take all the heat for it, while we are in the wings holding Israel's hand, while they absorb all the bullets, literal and verbal. Perhaps ten years ago or longer ago there is something we could have done to avert this day from arriving. Candidate Obama was apparently briefed that we knew that Iran had Nukes in the 2008 campaign and chose not to make it an issue. I hope Pat Buchannon won't be going soft on this one.

Jesus taught in a strange parable about a slippery business accountant that one should be careful who you decidet either TO make friends with or NOT to make friends with, and it's prudent to know when a dark day comes which side your bread is buttered on. You have all heard about Henry, another of those "shadowy figures" in my life. That isn't his real name. Well, you've also heard me say that I suspected Henry, whom I was living with in Paccoima in 1974 with, possible ratted me out to the authorities. But was I going to turn around and rat out my superior? No way. Not when they're supplying you a good attorney, and knowing also that you have an economic investment with them. If Adriana is really as good as she says, she should have a lot of the green stuff to show for it. Anyhow, if you make the right friends who believe in the ZAC axiom of "Take care of those you call your own", then when you emerge on The Other Side, you will have a financial reward that will serve you well.

And now it's back in the news again. All this paranoia about liquid hair products. Now comon household items such as acetone and hydrogen peroxide are considered deadly compounds and anybody who buys these items as a beauty supplies store ought to have his securety background checked out, because you'll never know when you are selling to a mad bomber. Azazi we are told was "close to planning his next attack" but the details seem a little nebulus. He was going to explode a bottle of acetone in a crowd. I don't know. That doesn't exactly sound like another 9 - 11 to me. I think it's good our country is being so vigelent. They are all worrying so that we comon folk don't have to, especially when we believe they are over-reacting.

In case you are wondering, our next posting will be in The Soap Opera of Life, with it's "Monet Moments". This is a blog whose format was changed a bit in the last go-round.

As you may or may not know, when I went to the dentist last, the dentist announced that among other things I need a tooth pulled. It's the gold crown that I got in early 1979. This crown was causing me an emense amount of pain earlier in the week. Now I have to take anti-biotics for it before he can even pull the tooth. I used to be fond of saying "I've been financially independant since January of 1974". However lately I haven't been able to say that as loudly, because my impoverishment these past three years has been quite apparent. I think the Republican right should look at the moral depravity within their own party as a symptum of something unhealthy. You have John Mc Cain and Newt Gingrich dumping their wives because they either had cancer or were disfigured in some way. You see all of the gay sex and rationalization. You see teenage boy sex and prostitution. You have blatent financial dishonisty and corruption. And yet there is some idea that if it's YOUR side that is doing the sin, that makes it OK. Susan Atkins died last night. She can talk about mercy from the State but now she's facing Divine Justice and is finding out what it's really all about- - kind of an "Attitude Adjustment" you might say. She may well be learning that prison conversions don't carry that much weight with God. There are people who may be sinners, but they are against Obama Health Care so that makes them one hundred percent American. Even though Jesus himself favored free health care.

That "Flash Forward" program last night wasn't what I expected it to be in this sense. I thought there was some really horrible, awful event that was going to happen. I thought that all of the visions would be disjointed and perhaps almost "in code". Instead they are like clearly identifiable pieces of a puzzle, a giant mosiac of the day April 29th 2010. It almost reminds me of that photo book our family has with all pictures taken in America on May 2nd 1986. If some kind of a mass psychic thing occured like that today, the right wing would naturally be calling it some kind of a "One World Conspiracy".

Do We Really Want to "Flash Forward?"

Tonight is that witchy ABC drama about "Flashing Forward". I've wondered, though about other flash forward programs. Sometimes knowing the future isn't at all reassuring. There is one Next Generation Star Trek episode where there are two Captain Piccards and one of them is from six hours in the future after some horrible event and he has been thrown back in time. But trying to talk to him about it is another matter. He is uncommunacative and a little obsessive - as if driven by some force or belief. There really aren't that many things I would genuinely like to "take back" in this life- - that I wish I could go back and undo things. But a couple of them involve prophecy. In late October of 1966 I "prophesied" in my writings that Ronald Reagan would be elected governor of California and that the republicans would gain 46 seats in congress. My dad read this and thought I was a little nuts. But in the end that's just what happened. It was the birth of the conservative wave as we know it. On a tape recording I wish I still had made April 8th. 1967 my Uncle and grandmother were over visiting and my Dad was remarking about the new "Pausticity" of government. I'm not sure if that's a word but it means being a pauper. There was this new "hard up" quality about government where you have to scratch and peck for every cent that's allocated. And we've never gotten over this. So today people are still obsessed about money and we're all "short of cash" and have to "cut back". Another prophecy I'd love to take back is about my brother's divorce, which occurred around February of 1976. I predicted the demise of his marriage at least three different times. In the form of "Biblical" style writings in early August of 1971, in the form of prose in March of 1972 and in the form of song lyrics (to the tune of "So this is Christmas") in early April of 1974. Had I this to do over I would have had nothing but positive things to say about my brother's first marriage. At times one is haunted by the axiom "What you wish on others will come back on you". But I didn't WISH it, I just Prophisied it - - and there is a difference. I would have kept in closser touch. But some of you readers may say to me "But didn't you say you were in prison from mid August of 1974 to late May of 1975?" County jail, actually- - but for purposes of argumentation with this blog just forget I said that for the moment. Assuming that I were available to check up regularly on them in their apartment and see how their marriage was fairing- - I would have asked the right questions and hopefully spotted problems early. But by the summer of 1975 their marriage was already showing marked signs of deterioration. My brother was more interested in the unborn child of another woman than he was concerned about the affairs of his own wife. Now we jump to September of 1979 when I was in a state of psychological as well as financial depression - -and I wrote about a time when I would be consigned to a mental institution - - "and suddenly I found the aging process accelerated". And there came a time when people came to check on me- - but they wouldn't locate where I was. Of course with the medication I'm on I've aged ten or more years overnight being in here. Now we go to the first Sunday night in January of 1992. On this night I had a dream that left me freaked out. That Sunday evening I was recording rare David Bowie songs off the radio, probably off KROQ. I dreamed that I woke up in the morning and it was already after eight, in the old house where I grew up. The weather was warm. It was a different season of the year. I theorized it was in April at a time before they changed Daylight Saving Time laws. I felt like I had this sword of damacles hanging over my head for some reason. Was I in some kind of trouble? Had I committed a crime? Had I killed someone? My brother we'll call Don came over with a young woman who claimed to be my wife named Debbie, but my brother informed me "You wern't living together". Of course I had amnesia in this dream and I couldn't remember anything that had recently happened, even the previous day. Debbie was an attractive brunette with brown eyes. In retrospect she bore a startling resemblence to Denise Brown, except she was just a little thinner. She said, "Remember when we were in school back at El Toro High School?" Of course I didn't. My brother Don was also married in this dream and I was curious who his wife was and why she was unable to make it here today. - - - In another scene and it's early afternoon now- - my other brother, Phil, and some friends- - were going to take a nice little drive down to the South County by Laguna Canyon and perhaps to the Ocean. I thought "This will help relax me" because I was so tense and I also hadn't eaten, for various reasons. But this drive never materialized. - - In a later scene and it's mid afternoon now - - I'm at the Bosc house, and there is a giant hundred foot cliff just south of the house- - that drops off to the Pacific Ocean. Also the house had been dramatically remodeled, and the tenants had used a green and orange decore. My Dad was cleaning out the furnice, vaccuming it, etcetra. He took a big box of my writings and dumps them on the floor and says to me "You decide which ones you want to get rid of". I didn't feel like doing this. In the final scene of the movie it's about 6:15 and the sun is setting. I'm at Brookhurst Jr. High on the grassy area west of the cafeteria and south of the gymnasium. You all know where that is. I'm walking tword a croud of people congragated in the covered area. There is some sort of dinner happening. It's old ladies from my old church (where "The asshole from El Paso is pastor) I'm feeling a little more normal now. I make my way inside the cafeteria and a bunch of old ladies, some of which I knew- - were looking at me- - and one of them turns and says "That man has a Decision to make". It wasn't just the words but the rather stern, condemnatory tone of voice she said it in that alarmed me. Here the dream ends. I left out only a couple small portions. I felt as though the dream were some kind of Warning, but I had no idea "of what". So this is with future flash forwards, sometimew we don't know just what exactly it is they are trying to tell us. - -And now some stuff from Word from yesterday.

This is after dinner at a quarter to six. They kept ringing the dinner bell early and I went down at ten after four after watching a C-Span station. We had baked chicken for dinner that was well done, and sliced potatoes and vegetables, with bread pudding for desert. I went to the bakery for two cold Cokes. Then I watched a bit of the other two C-Span stations plus more of the first one, all of which seemed to be discussing the Max Bacchus health care bill. I’m going to look for the text

At Democracy Now I watched a 47 minute video interview of Max Blumenthal and his book. A new key figure he introduced was Francis Schaefer, who walks on water in the eyes of all the Calvary Chapel people. He was an old dude born 1917 or something and he died in May of 1984. He started some commune in Switzerland that was kind of patterned after Chuck Smith, or visa versa. Jimmy Page attended there a few times. He is said to have “snapped” when Roe verses Wade came out, and sat about to organizing the right wing, including Randall Terry. One of his states on theology was the must utterly nutty statement I’ve come across. He said that is the “unbeliever” were consistent he would have absolutely no morals and live like an animal or something. I would respond to him that if I were really true to my own inner moral principles I never would have touched it or trusted it as far as I can throw a bowling ball. Of all the theological beliefs, his seem the most easily disproven and discredited. Other statements in my postings are consistent with what he said in this interview. The book apparently came out in stores on Tuesday September 8th , so the book hasn’t been out long at all. It is one of the best treaties on the Christ Right I have come across, and I believe this book will have a major impact on people’s thinking about these voices they hear on the radio. He talked about the Dobson – Sarah Palin connection, and how Dobson actually has no theological credentials. There are other shadowy figures discussed by Blumenthal that were instrumental in forming the right wing many decades ago during the time of President Eisenhower. Eisenhower in addition to warning about the military – industrial complex, also sounded warnings in 1952 about extremist movements in his own party, that would destroy the Republican party if they ever got in control. Blumenthal maintains that this is just what has happened as of last year when Mc Cain – having attacked the Christian Right in the past, now had to make amends by nominating Sarah Palin, someone whom James Dobson already knew of. Apparently something I only darkly suspected is actually a present reality. That this new generation that was raised on “Dare to Discipline” and its corporal punishment, this younger generation is even more radicalized than their progenitors. This is a scarey prospect because it means that we are going to be stuck with them for decades to come, just like we are with Justice John Roberts.

The Division Bell

Given the things we wrote in our previous post, the question arises, "Is there a tipping point. Is there a point where a complete division between black and white, or whatever else, becomes inevitable and unpreventable?" The answer is - certainly. The most obvious illustration of this is the division between North and South in this country prior to the civil war. Yet at the same time we all, including me, needs to beware of certain pervaisive myths and false beliefs. One of the big ones is that Abraham Lincoln was this great liberator of the Black race. Another myth is that flying the Confederate flag is the same thing as wearing a white sheet and parading around at night with torches. The K K K did not come into existance till after the Civil War, you will remember. In this case Blacks were actually subject to more pure hatred after the civil war than before. Of course another myth that was perhaps an over-reaction on the past posting, was that people see some comonality or ape like similarities between Blacks and primates. Obviously 96% of the D N A man shares in comon with the ape, and this figure is Exactly the same whether you be Black or White. One more pervaisive myth out there is that conservatives want to "Conserve" things. That they want to somehow "slow down inevitable progress". You saw this in the dialog between Matthew Harrison Brady and Henry Drummand when Brady says "How did we drift so far apart. We used to see eye to eye on everything". And Drummand says to Brady. "All motion is relative. (alluding to Einstein) Maybe it's you who moved by standing still and not keeping up with the times. Yet as one looks out over the horizon of Neo Conservatives today one sees actually very little that is "traditional" or preservative of American Values. Indeed it is the liberal Thom Hartman who talks of preserving traditional American values such as truth and justice, in his opening introduction. Indeed it is theNeo Cons who want to sweep away a hundred years of scientific and social progress. By the 1920's Creationism as described in the Bible had already ceased to become an intellectually respectable position. Also it's the neo cons who want to sweep away a hundred years of anti trust legeslation and take us back to the era of the Robber Barrons of the late 1800's, and they have become damned successful at this, too. It's the neo cons who seem to want to wipe away national borders and make us all one big business trading community with some vast world overseer. It's also the brain child of the neo-cons to balloon the national deficet to bail out our financial institutions.

Yesterday I watched a Glen Beck thing from Fox on the internet. Glen Beck was asking some obvious questions about Obama's fiscle asperationa for this economy and the health care community. The questions he raised were quite reasonable. I, too, see no need for a mad rush to pass any Health Care legeslation. We've got time. But here is where the division part of the equation comes into play. We "liberals" see an ongoing trend, and that is - medical insurance is becoming more and more loophole ridden and basically useless and not worth the premiums, and we see this as a situation that will soon become intollerable. We see small businessmen dropping employees from health plans. Of course conservatives also "see things". One article yesterday said that forty percent of doctors will leave the medical profession if Obama's health care bill passes in its current form, and that an even larger percentage of doctors are utterly opposed to this bill. I don't know if this assertion contains any truth but if it does- - the laws of capitalism would suggest that a lot of people should soon take up a medical major and become doctors because it's now financially lucritive, whereas before "there was just no room for new doctors. Perhaps all these new doctors won't be slaves to what the AMA thinks.

Of course Christians have spoken in the past of not only a psychological "Division" but a literal physical division wherein God separates the masses, separating the good from the bad. In the original story of Sodom and Gamorah- - there were a few good people amongst the bad. May I suggest these represent the few good people who are still in the Christian church, and it's only a matter of time before they are either driven out, or some event will come along that causes such moral revulsion in them they feel compelled to leave. Of course you know it says in King Solomon's time that "The Sodomite was in the land at that time". This remark begs the obvious question as to whether King Solomon lived prior to the destruction of Sodom and Gamorah. Sometimes it doesn't hurt to take a second look at the obvious. But in nature, too, certain things become increasingly obvious, such as cell division. There are various phases such as pro fase, meta phase and ana phase and all of that. Like a cell, the country was inwardly preparing to devide before the civil war. Back in 1980 the whole idea of the Rapture of the Church was starting to become out of fashion. Perhaps people were looking forward to the reign of Ronald Reagan as President. In 1978 a "C Change" occurred in the Borin Again Community with the advent of the Moral Majority. I was slow to pick up on this. In mid 1980 when I wrote my prophecy book, I was even then inclined to see Calvary Chapel people as a bunch of flakes. But I was heartly supportive of the agenda of the Moral Majority, and embraced the Christian Faith everywhere else in this country - aside from the flakes, fruits, and nuts here in California. But now I'm inclined to look on the whole situation differently. Calvary Chapel was never about "Peace and Love" and all that 'sixties Hippy stuff. That was just a passing come-on to put bodies in the seats. But in reality now that I've studied the matter- - the root of bigotry and ignorance runs deep in all of the Calvary Chapels. Obviously even people like James Dobson are not quite what they seem. Chuck Swendoll is a guy that either "God" or people from the Orion Federation told me never to write too. I broke that injunction once or twice. Of course Reverend Swendoll believes that if you were of age and didn't serve gladly in Viet Nam, then you aren't fit for his church. That was a deal breaker for me. These people, including Jesus Christ on KFI, are all infatuated with the state of continuous War that this country has been in since 9 - 11. You know, a wise man once said- - - "Don't argue with a fool too long because if you do- - a bystander observing the two of you will soon be unable to tell which one of you is the Fool." (Selah)

Akmadenajab of Iran is continuing to make his anti Isriali statements. One would be inclined to dismiss him as just another bad joke of that region of the world, a minor irritent. But the Federation tells us that Iran will be the source and cause of the next major international war. I think we need to yank out all of this hatred in Iran. Totally exponge it, like a dentist pulling a bad tooth. Otherwise it will fester and get worse and infect the whole area worse than it already is. As such a little "prophylactic" or preventative air raid action by Israel to knock out Iran's nukes doesn't seem at all a bad idea to me, in fact it seems like an idea we should all embrace. But on the subject of settlements in the West Bank, I think Netenyahoo (pardon my bad spelling) needs to take a lesson from history and realize that his actions are seen as a continuous affront to the Palistinians, and to pull back. I'm sure Palistinians must read US history and our dealings with the American Indian, and can't help but see the similarity. Netenyahoo should realize that this settlements thing as an area where the rest of the world is against him. I think peace would be a wonderful thing on the West Bank. I think we need to make the Palistinians understand that what they are getting in the bargain is tranquility and a better life style. But that they will have to give up their long standing military asperations. Can they do that?

Republican Gamorah

People love to equate the right wing with "Right" be it morally or politically and people think of Left as cinnister or "wrong". Many people, perhaps including myself, have been brainwashed into believing that Christians on the right are inherently more moral than us "ordenary" people. But let's look at some examples to the contrary. Today Randi Rhodes had on her program Max Bloomenthol, author of "Republican Gamorah". First look at James Dobson. Would you believe that he owes a lot of success for the funding of his Ministry to none other than Ted Bundy, who was a multiple murderer - rapist? As you know in an Exclusive interview with Bundy before he was put to death, James Dobson fawned all over Bundy, as Bundy explained that the cause of all of his violence against women began when he started reading Playboy as a youngster. By the way, did you know that Bundy used to be a politically minded Republican who worked in the party? Some mave said that the sort of physical discipline that Dobson teaches turns kids into sado-masochists. Of particular interest was the notion of hugging your kid after you spanked them. That sure wasn't my house. I don't recall "hugging" ever being a part of physical punishment. I kind of viewed discipline in my home as storms that would come at sea and they seemed to erupt for no reason and they were pretty much uncontrolable like the weather, and you pretty much had to wait for them to blow over. Dobson also says it's a good idea for fathers to shower with their young sons, so the little boys can observe the size of their father's penis, as some symbol for authority. Randy Rhodes is disgusted by people like Tom Delay, who used to be called "The Hammer" because he was so virelent in demanding President Clinton's impeachment. In my wrotings of 2005 I thought the laundering charges were flimsy, but I was in a different frame of mind in those days. But Tom Delay has defended guys like Abramoff, who was associated with a prostitution sex slave ring on some tropical island the US owns. It seems these "workers" were forced to get abortions should they get pregnent, so they could go on plying their trade without interruption. Apparently there was a bill before congress to put an end to all this sex slave business and Tom Delay, as a favor to Abramoff, blocked the bill and it died. Tom Delay also had some Texas senators chased down who were "hiding out" in a city in Oklahoma because they didn't want to vote on a heavily biased redistricting bill. After the FAA told Delay to fly a kite, Delay began hassassing other federal agencies for action. Also Tom Delay was one of those in the forefront of the Terry Shivo battle in 2005. But now it turns out that Delay was the one that signed the death order on his own father, ordering the hospital to pull the plug. Hypocracy is rampent with these people as you can see. But I think there is an element of truth in Thom Hartman's assertion that these people on the right believe that "Man" is basically immoral and depraved and can't be trusted, but there are a few "Naturally Annointed Leaders" who can. In the book, Mel Gibson, who did the Passion of the Christ- - is criticized because he believes the movie glorified Sado-Masochism. That's an interesting slant on reality. In the book "Escape from Freedom" Eric Fromme says that people are basically like sheep and their greatest fear in life is having to make decisions. And so some dictator like Hitler promises them "relief from all this stress". People under Nazisum, like Churchmen, I suspect, are sort of a sado-masochistic relationship. They are told whom to hate and despize, while they in turn are often looked down disparagingly from "On High". You never know. Maybe Eric Fromme had the answer all along and I didn't see it. My natural bias is fading vain hope is that "If I look hard enough, I can find good things in right wing Christianity. A lot of radio comentators have it half-ass backwards. They say "Basically the system is good; it is only isolated people who are bad apples". I turn that around. There are a few isolated very moral apples in the mix, and I indeed have met quite a few very moral, decent Christians. But they can never get that far, because the system of Christianity is utterly corrupt. There is one more angle to all this. Mass murderers often get their start torturing and abusing animals. I know a guy who used to live in the Bosc house who used to brag that he tortured animals when he was younger. Apparently a favorite pasttime among Texans is sticking firecrackers up frog's butts and setting them off. Of course the book "Republican Gamorah" apparently spends a lot of time talking about old fashioned sexual immorality and bad judgement Republicans are guilty of.

President Obama cams up with the statement of the day when he said "Believe it or not I was black before the election of 2008". OK. Point made. But I also know if I were President I would pretty much feel like Obama that I had to downplay the whole racial thing. Even as just a blogger I didn't want to be pidgion holed by my readers as "Another one of "Those People" who obsesses on Race". So I dragged my feet in bringing up the whole racial issue. It struck me while watching "Inheret the Wind" yesterday that maybe conservatives hate evolution because they look down on Black people, who remind them of apes, and so they look down on apes, too. After all they need someone to look down on because God hates everybody. As Homer Simpson put it brilliantly in one episode, "Now I know how God feels. I'm beginning to hate my own creation".

And now for today's music interlude. I don't think I ever included "Take a Walk on the Wild Side" by Lou Reed in any of my rock compilations. If so it's a case of a song slipping through the cracks because I intended to include it "sometime". Here is today's light bulb moment. There is a commercial where there is a slightly different version of "Come Together" and I happened to notice the starteling similarity in this song and "Crawling King Snake" by the Doors, particularly in the electric piano part. It's something to ponder.

Apparently the name of the main Talliban terrorist captured is Nija Bula Azazi. This is the most significant Talliban plot unearthed since 9 - 11, and it wasn't just in the speculation stage but well under-way. I have kind of a personal biaz that says "We won't have any repeats of 9 - 11". It would seem that an axiom of law enforcement is "We don't know what we don't know". What this means to me is that the scope of what you don't know is not defined. The new information could come from anywhere, and perhaps a place you aren't looking or suspecting. So what you THINK you don't know could be a lot less signifant than what you REALLY don't know. Some theorize that Islamic groups are doing such a good job of infiltrating our society and turning us secretly subtally pro Islamic, that an overt attack is less and less necessary.

Sometimes you can do a job too well. As a price for doing a "clean wipe" of all damning evidence, Stephano is being wedded to Kate Roberts tonight, which is something he's actually wanted to do for a long time. But now there is another problem. Kate Roberts won't be arrested for any crimes but the police marveled that the Motel where the crime was committed was clean, all right. It was emaculate of any DNA or finger prints or any evidence that anyone had ever been there. This seemed odd. But in Christian history the same thing seems to have happened in the hundred years after Christ was crusified. You don't find any relyable documents that can be pinned down in date till about 112, as the very earliest, and most likely later. And yet there are a ton of - -third, and fourth, and fifth century documents. But why is there that seeming eighty year "dead zone" after the death of Christ? Was either writing or paper or something to write with not invented yet? Or were these documents deemed "dangerous" because their theology was contradicted by later writings of the Church Fathers? Or, there is one more possability, that Christianity itself did not even exist till sometime in the second century. Or as I have said in my blogs, there was a "Crestus" but the "Christians" described, for instance in the writings in Pliny the Younger, were in fact NOT the Holy Catholic Church but a whole other outfit.

"Purple Haze" Theology

Today we are going to expand your mind and consciousness. In the liner notes of the "Are You Experianced" album there is something about dividing the universe up into 360 pieces and then putting it back together again. Well there is a branch of writing that used to appear in our snail mailings 25 years ago that I have not gone into in my blogs. That is the notion of the spiral staircase to heaven, or to be more to the point, Karmic perfection. Chuck Smith used to have a saying that it's always the Christians that get caught when a group of people do something wrong, and that unsaved people appear to get off scott free. Keeping this line of logic in focus, what does the host of the Jesus Christ Show do about the parable of the rich man and Lazerus? Lazerus was poor and supposedly went to heaven, and relatives of the Rich Man supposedly went to hell. Now, Jesus of KFI has this saying, "You only go around once in life" like the Schlitz beer commercial. This is an appealing concept to many. So "why not go for the Gusto"? Or "If I only have one life let me live it as a blonde?" Following the line of reasoning Jesus of KFI has, the Rich Man is sitting pretty right now. All he has to do is "Accept Christ" and spend his vast money that you and I don't have, and build himself one of these ten thousand seat arenas, and start his own Evangelist TV network and receive huge offerings each week as he drivea around in a B M W. When the rich man finally dies he will be able to point to all of his followers as an example of his "good works" meanwhile Lazerus doesn't have squat. In fact Lazerus shouldn't even be saved because he didn't go forward at the altar and "Accept Jesus" while alive.

We'll get back to this theme later but now let's talk about extremes of the political left and right. As an example of extremes on the Left we have ACORN, and I don't know what the letters stand for. But they had a prostitute come to their office who wanted to know how to deal with her profession on a tax form. One of the suggestions she received was "Just don't file". Another suggestion was that she call herself as "In the performing arts". As another example on the left we could site is Pete Stark. He is one of the few professing Atheists in congress, and if I say so myself, he gives Atheists a bad name because he's a real asshole. Michael Jackson used to have him on as a frequent guest to his show. But on the internet there is an interview with Pete Stark in saying that the size of a nation's debt is not a bad thing but a good thing, because the size of the national debt is a positive indicator of a nation's wealth. He was asked whether interest rates on that debt could be burdensome to pay back. He came up with a number of absurd responses but when the reporter persisted for an answer, Pete Stark threw him out of his office saying "Get the fuck out of here". But both of these examples on the left are more than outweighed by our example on the Right, as an example of the political Twilight Zone. You've seen that firey black guy who comes off as some 'sixties radical or something. But instead of Blacks rioting he's talking about Whites rioting, and he's all in favor of that. He called President Obama a bunch of names and used every hysterical stereotype in the book to describe the Obama Administration like it was un-American and Communists and White people just wern't going to put up with it any more. The only thing needed to make this video complete was that if he ripped off his Black mask and dropped the Black accent and was revealed for all to see as a just another white biggot, like Larry Elder. Even among Oreos, this man truely must inspire awe and wonder. This last indicant more than outweighs the irrationality of the first two events on the left conbined.

Obama had decided to "modernize" and "stream line" our missile defence system against Iran. I'll admit I'm puzzled by this. While I am no expert on missile defence systems, sometimes it's good to look and see who's for this "modernization" and who is against it. Russia loves the idea, as does Iran. This tells me something. People who dislike the notion of scaling back our missile defence system, that Bush had planned to install, are the people living in Europe in places like Poland, which have emerged from the yoke of communism. I'm not sure what Pat Buchannon thinks of this plan, but Pat has been markedly pro Soviet in his foreign policy outlook lately saying that we can't afford to "make Russia upset with us" because "We may need their help in negotiating with countries like Iran". My own belief echoes Barry Goldwater. He said that is there is an error in our need for Weapons, it's better to err on the side of Security. I would hope that President Obama would follow this axion and not short change our nation, not to mention add a lot of new defence jobs that our economy badly needs.

And now back to the fourth movement of our symphony where we return to our original theme. As you know today is Rosh Hashana, or the Jewish New Year. You will also note if you have followed our writings that it's thirteen lunar months till that "rapture" event we have been talking about on October 10th. 2010, or 10-10-10. Of course if yyou have read Arachne Rising you know about the 13 and 12 and 5 mystic triangle. The twelve is the number of lunar months in a short year and the 13 is the number of lunar months in one of their "leap years". The five represents the pentagram, and we can discuss that some other time. Using trig functions previously unabailable to me- - this produces a triangle of 22.61 degrees. What it also does is set up a rather bizzare "Heavenly music scale" there there are just over sixteen notes in an octive. That is, if you start off with a C, the next C note is slightly higher than the other C in pitch so this sets up a slightly augmented octive of seventeen notes counting the two base C notes. It was theorized that "Purple Haze" was written in this bizzare tonal music scale". This scale would by mathemical deduction accomodate a lot of diminished chords and arpegios. But they would be slightly augmented "diminished" chords, with the notes just slighter farther apart than would be normal. Now I'l like to get to the karmic part. Because back around 1983 our writings contained a lot about "spiral staircases" to karmic perfection. Here the steps are believed to be turned by 22.61 degrees to the right and upward. We referred to the "positive wind" stairway as going to the right and up and to the left and down. Now that we're all liberals you could referse all these if you wanted to. You've heard a lot about "step ins" on Ghost Whisperer. In our writings we use the Ruth Montgomery term of "Walk Ins". Some may say it's good to be a Walk In candidate because they believe some magical force will come and "assist" you with the rough places in your life. In reality, Walk Ins kick out the former occupant of the body, so that YOU no longer exists. But I've thought about it and what you may have are what you could call "Drop Downs". Think of an automatic record changer. What a "Drop Down" is is someone who is higher up on the spiral staircase than you are. In our model, the higher you go up the spiral stair case, of course the bigger the steps get increasing by 13/12 with each step, but also as you progress upward the "difficulty factor" of your life gets tougher. In this vein, the people who have it hard in this life, like the poor and handicapped, actually are incarnated on a higher and not lower karmic plane. As you go down the staircase, the difficulty factor eases off, so that it becomes easier and easier to live a perfect, idealized life. It's been theorized that Born Again people are "drop downs" who used to have good karma in their old lives but have lately screwed up and are now being cosmically demoted- - and now are incarnated on a lower plane, where the rigors of life are less demanding. So they cash in on all that "Political Capital" George Bush used to talk about, and live the good life. But those headed up the stairway, like advancing levels in a video game, find life progressively harder and more rigerous. This is just something to think about when you see your neighbor (which could be anyone) struggling with problems in life.

The Most Hated Man In America

No, it isn't Malcolm X. Jimmy Carter right now is the most hated man by the right wing, who by their own statements ARE America. This morning Jimmy Carter said that America was still a racist country and that many who attend these right wing rallies are motivated by racism against the idea of a Black President. Often they paste Obama's face on other pictures, like an African witch doctor. And of course they say he's really a Kenyan citizen and he "hasn't produced his real birth cirtificate". Even Judy has hopped aboard this band wagon. But then there is the idea mentioned by a caller to the Ron Reagan show that "the thing they hate most about Berock Obama is that he is half white and half Black. It's this mixing of the races they object to. Another idea that isn't as often stated as a reason for not liking Obama is that he is from the poor inner city. He is the first one of those candidates we have had in a long time. Of course we've had poor frontiersmen such as Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Jackson. (Though if I were a Cherokee, I'd have just as soon that Jackson stuck to fighting the British rather than destroy Cherokee culture) This whole idea of racism against Obama is an idea on my mind throughout the previous two postings, almost on a subconscious level. Carter says he knows about the South and how they often use euphamisms for "nigger" rather than just come out and say it, but also this racism has now spread to other parts of the country. Some like Ruch Limbaugh seem to almost put forth the idea that merely being born Black automatically makes you a racist. Rush Limbaugh is much more of a reactionary flame thrower than he used to be when I listened to his show fifteen and twenty years ago. I can't say for sure just what has made him so bitter. People used to say that it was the "uppity Nigger" they were afraid of, like a Sydney Portier type. But President Obama is the farthest thing from that. This reality that a large portion of the US Population does not respect or even aknoledge Obama as President of the United States I find disturbing. I think the President has to address this racism somehow, but I am fresh out of advice as to just how he can best do that.

Jimmy Carter already had three strikes against him before this latest incident. First of all he was a victum of Paul Volker's economic activity at the Federal Reserve who jacked up interest rates way up, thus feeding inflation and giving our economy the worst of both worlds. The same thing would have happened to Ronald Reagan were he elected in 1976. Strike two is the Iran hostages and that botched rescue mission of April of 1980. One preacher has even alluded to demonic activity botching this missing. The rescue hilocopters ran into a fierce sand storm. The third strike against Jimmy Carter are these new charges of being an anti semite, because of that recent book he wrote when he said that Israel practiced apartite. Actually Carter says it was only Arabs outside the borders is Israel who were treated with second or third class status, and indeed there are Arabs within Israel that have full rights. In fact Israel is now afraid that there may be an Arab majority soon and that "We Jews will lose our Jewishness". Of course while Carter was President he brokered the Camp David accords between Begin and Sadat in 1978. Every year Chuck Smith decks out the church in black drape and declairs a Calvary Chapel day of mourning. Peace is a horrible thing when it spoils all of your plans. But of course in reality, Carter is one of the most thoughtful, moral men we have ever had as President. And no, I did not vote for Carter for President- - either time. One preacher used to spare no invective when referring to President Carter calling him "A man with more teeth than brains". Carter has done a lot of good service since leaving the office of President. But now that he has resurfaced, the Right has new-found vigor in their hatered for him. Jimmy Carter understands the problems and hardships of the Palistinians. And as you know from Rush Limbaugh, anybody who shows "compassion" instantly becomes an object for their scorn. I think if I were an Israeli citizen I'd be thinking "I have no problem with embracing the Palistinian, the moment he begins thinking like a Jew". I should amend that. It's not Jew verses Arab but rather Westerner verses Moslem. The Moslems believe in Jihad or a struggle to the death. The idea of compromize or co existance is culturally alien to them. As you know the Federation in my writings has much the same view of warfare. We need a bridge. Someone to span the cultural divide. It is my prayer that Jimmy Carter will continue to meet with both sides in the Mideast conflict.

Despite what Mike Harrison said today, political civility has never been in a worse state. I would not have mentioned Joe Wilson at all except for something I just heard today, and that is that he has used his outburst during Obama's speech to rally the forces of hate, and in the past few days has raised over a million dollars. It is a most disturbing thing when negativity drives a political group. That's what they feed on. In the movies they used to talk about savages in other lands that feed on fear, hatred, suspicion and ignorance. But I never thought we'd be facing these same forces here. The atnosphere for constructive conversational exchange and honist debate - - is hopelessly poisoned. The media needs to acknoledge this current reality.

And now we have this Bauccus health bill without a public option. I think this is the bill sponsored by the "gang of six" with three republicans and three conservative democrats. Of course on the "Frangela" radio program today, they said that insurance premiums have gone up 89% since 2002, and that the profits of the top ten health insurers have risen a whopping 427 percent! Some have offered alternatives to the public option. New York's ex mayor has talked about competetion among health insurers in different states. Others have mentioned that we routinely "over treat" patients in this country putting patients through procedures they don't need as part of "defencive medicine". Some people are afraid that is the uninsured are suddenly financially able to see the doctor that they will all become hypochondriacs. The truth is that those who are whining the loudest about the superiority of medical care in this country may well be the very ones who are running up medical costs for all of us. My first driving goal would be to put the insurance companies out of business. Once this was accomplished, a lot of the other problems would take care of themselves.

There seems to be times on soap operas where "All Hell is breaking loose". On today's episode of "Days of our Lives" we have the prospect of an unmarried teenager falsely believing that she will never see her baby again and it will be ripped from its current rich family and shipped off to a sub standard foster home. And also a husband who if he knew the truth about what his wife was doing would probably have her murdered and maybe her teenage friend murdered, as well as probably never speak to his own father again. In addition to this a woman wakes from a Coma only to learn that her long lost lover had just been murdered by her mother in law. Also two hospital employees - both quite young - may get arrested for murder - and cops and the DA realize - all too late - that they have made a horrible mistake in administering justice.

Americans Believe the Darndest Things

I would like to talk more about what that KCET guy refers to as “Memes” or “beliefs” that are accepted as axiomatic. What this speaker says has many merits. My dispute with him is not that people don’t have incorrect and false beliefs. My beef with him is that Reality is determined by What we believe. But sometimes “memes” can get us into trouble. When I was a kid I picked up the message somehow from movies or TV that “You don’t run from the police”. If you run from the police it’s the same as putting a target on your back and giving them permission to shoot you. In the news was this father of two young children who was just walking home with a friend or whatever from playing video games. And he saw some cops and ran behind a fence and was shot and killed. I think there is no question these sorts of events occur all the time. I would imagine that only a small fraction of the time are Police in any jeopardy for their lives when they claim they are. The truth is they just like to shoot their guns. Of course this errant officer left in his wake a grieving family mourning an innocent man.

Then we have the “Meme” that anybody who uses the word “conspiracy” has to be a whacko. It’s almost part of common lore spread by talk show hosts that “conspiracies never happen”. Personally I don’t have this “Meme” so my mind is not controlled by it. So when people look at how the Twin Towers in New York collapsed and they see two buildings that look like they were professional collapsed by a demolition team with explosives, I am inclined to believe my eyes. The collapse of both buildings was too sudden – being only minutes after being hit - and they fell a little too suddenly and too neatly for it not to have been planned. You may not remember this but as I recall they were saying in the media that the buildings would collapse even before they did, planting the idea in our minds that this event was to be expected and shouldn’t come as any surprise. This whole idea of “not coming as any surprise” is something that Thom Hartman talks about saying the government “prepairs” us for events that would otherwise come as a shock, so that when the measures come, we don’t react to them. I was looking at conspiracy theories in Google the other day and one thing I quickly noticed that the first several conspiracy sites I clicked on, were all anti conspiracy. The Wickepedia would run down all the theories and dismiss each one with often stupid logic. I couldn’t help compare how they deal with, for example, “Arguments favoring the existence of God”. There are five main ones: Revelation, Ontological, Cosmological, Teological, and Moral. But if at the end of each one they put “Of course we know this theory is a bunch of bullshit” I imagine Christians wouldn’t like that very much. Also this whole notion of the Eye Witness is being denigrated. When I hear about one of these cop shooting incidents, I want to hear what the witnesses on the scene saw. And when it comes to 9 – 11 I want to know what the people actually on the street saw. But now the media is trying to put forth the message “eye witnesses aren’t reliable” and “people’s minds play tricks on them” and other such rationalization and sophistry.

Some of the things people believe about their government isn’t pretty. Yesterday I watched this video about a “victim” who went bankrupt running a clinic and giving medical aid to illegal aliens and now will be out millions of dollars in legal suits, as if your typical immigrant denied medical service has the money to go out and hire a slick lawyer. Yet this is the image they are trying to lay on us that immigrants consume more services in emergency centers than White people and they are somehow out to “stick it to the establishment”.

And now I’ve heard from multiple sources that California won’t pay tax refunds any more but just pocket the taxpayer’s money. And so some people just aren’t going to pay the taxes they owe but would rather risk incurring a penalty because it’s still better than trusting the State for a refund check. We hear that doctors are now suddenly refusing service to people because Medi-Care is going broke and there is too much fraud and that it’s better not to trust anybody but only deal with people you know will pay.

Then there is the whole idea of repealing the fourteenth amendment when it comes to people being US citizens if born on US soil. While others of the right will point to the high percentage of Blacks incarserated in prisons. And others point to statistics saying that the majority of Black births aren’t to married mothers. Of course you know that William Halliday found a reason to hate homosexuals saying “In almost every case a man who is a homosexual was himself molested as a child”. The mental imigry is subtle here but the reasoning goes “molestation is a horrible, traumatic event. We know that horrible, traumatic events never happen to God’s Chosen People, therefore anyone who has a past different from mine must not be a Christian”. Chains of reason don’t need to be rational to work or to “get their point across” - - - being that homosexuality is something so awful I don’t even want to soil my lips to even utter the word”.

Some things are a little hard to prove. You’ve heard of the “Columbian Neck Tie” and Johnny Cockrin screwed up this phrase. Well, according to Tom Hartman, CIA Chief William Casey was all set to give testimony on Iran-Contra in 1987 when that very day the hospital doctors cut out the portion of Casey’s brain that control’s speech.

In a similar vein, it is said that Lehman Brothers was allowed to financially fail because people in the government who control such events were all on the board of competitor Goldman – Sachs and this would be a good way to wipe out the competition. This is one of those “objection sustained” phrases to get out there before a Jury.

In the book “Legacy of secrecy” there is a lot of talk about ramifications stemming from the Kennedy assassination that affect us all to this very day. This is kind of another of those cases where you don’t to interview eye witnesses – people who were actually there that day. Also you better not look at the Zapruter film, because that, too, may give you the wrong idea. For that matter, John Conally, who actually rode in the car and was wounded himself- - isn’t a good witness to these “anti-conspiritists” because he believes that gun shots came from more than one direction. But even facts that are copiously documented, like the Ohio presidential election in 2004 in Rolling Stone, people will not believe there was any “conspiracy” simply because “They don’t believe in conspiracies”, period. People say that Gore didn’t run in 2008 “because he’s just not popular enough to get elected president”. How quickly people forget that Al Gore WON the popular vote in the election of 2000. This is the ultimate “Inconvenient Truth”.

Dr. Levy says he doesn’t trust anything Al Gore does because Gore is a hypocrite and his giant house wastes energy. This “Meme” of Dr. Levy’s is no doubt one he takes great comfort in, but - - . This may come as a shock to some people but being a hypocrite does not invalidate the True things that people state. John Lennon called the Maharishi a hypocrite because he had sexual affairs. My question is how do his sexual escapades affect his teaching on “Transcended Meditation”? And it does not exactly help John Lennon’s moral case to then go out and have a sexual affair and then divorce his wife. The difference between Christianity and just about ANY other system is while other organizations Contain hypocrites, Christianity IS hypocracy. But you take these international corporations who export our jobs as well as our pollution and believe rich people should be bailed out. These people aren't hypocrites. That's exactly what they believe. (Selah)

Let's Call the Whole Thing Off

My feeling about Obama’s health plan at this point is “Let’s call the whole thing off”. There is just no percentage in going ahead and a lot of reasons to drop this bill. Obviously all those people from last Saturday despize this bill. Of course Hartman says they were all bussed in, and were given the “simulated home made signs” they carried and at the end of the day they dumped the signs, and all the American flags in the trash. These people of course are all told what to say being spoon fed their lines. But if I’m the president I still have to think about the deviciveness I would be causing. What good thing could I point to about this bill. It’s a “sloppy wet kiss to the infurance companies”. We all know that. They get a lot of new customers and also get to charge them higher rates. The government gets to interfere more in everybody’s lives with all sorts of new layers of beaurocracy. This bill will add billions to our federal deficit. Whackos on the right of course never met a tax they liked. People on the right don’t see “the government” as “We the People”. They weren’t raised that way. They think of it as some alien force. They never met a giveaway to corporations they didn’t like. Illegal aliens will most likely not be prevented from siphoning off vast amounts of money for their aid. Like I said Wednesday and in the Thursday amendation I hope you read, that this was a horrible speech the President gave. It left me feeling the not least reassured. The right wing hated it. Even if you or I think “Death Pannels” are a phantom of the right wing, there are times when even paranoid’s feelings must be respected and dealt with, because they are such a large segment of the population.

One other thing conservatives are afraid of is “cultural diversity”. We were talking about this is Dr. Levy’s class today. Of course the Jews are a little afraid of this because they don’t want their race or culture watered down. I didn’t mention that those today who call themselves Jews are actually descended from a fellow named Ashanaz and that a group of this tribe got converted to Judaism in the fifth century in Turkey. Let people believe what they want to believe. Other people believe cultural diversity means converting vast segments of the population to homosexuality, because if you’re gay, you don’t reproduce. While we’re on the subject of population Dr. Levy said there was nothing morally suspect about cloning organs. But another classmate pointed out that the population problem is bad enough in the world without people living to 150. I too raised specter of “getting new organs every few decades or so” and on at least two occasions I said that this would be a way for rich people to show their dominance over the rest of us by living a lot longer and consuming the world’s resources. Of course Judy and so many others are concerned that people now will have their health care compromised. So you have the cry going up “No government health care, but don’t you touch my Medi-Care”. I can’t help of that skit that Thom Hartman does about Joe Conservative going to work, and how much he owes to liberals from occupational safety to clean drinking water to Social Security for his father. There is concern that people with specialized medical needs like diabetics or those on dialysis, might have their treatement cut off. And Dr. Levy doesn’t mind if insurance companies won’t cover something, but “It’s not the governments place to decide what medical care I’ll get”. There is something about that statement that’s absurdly detatched from reality. Especially because the whole source of roomer behind these “death panels” is just old people talking over what course their mental care and treatment will take every five years or so. Also remember that Dad was screwed over by his insurance company and that hospital in El Toro. Blame Keiser for his problems, because you can’t blame the government, much as Judy might like to.

There is a thing called closure that people need to mentally get over a traumatic event. Like Bo and Hope found closure when Officer Dean was subdued by Bo and arrested after Bo whaled on him a while. (don’t record it as an assault; it was “psychological therapy”). But sometimes closure doesn’t come. Rather than fawn all over the relics of Christianity, Dr. Levy should instead be asking “When is Jesus going to get Closure for alledged abuses by our race?” But what if your country has been lying to about the aledged enemy out there, such as Al Qaeda? What about a President to writes ahead of time before he even runs for President that “If I’m President I’m going to get us into a war and cash in on some of that political capital?” I don’t think a Presidential candidate has said a thing like that before. Can anybody spell “Mein Kamph?” Of course the right isn’t attacking Obama on his race. They’re just saying he isn’t a US citizen. That’s all. These same conservatives are saying that all these people like Van Jones and Reverend Wright and that Ayres guy- - are still secretly running the government and have secret aspirations of turning us into a Moslem or Communist state. We haven’t had a real liberal in the White House since Lyndon Johnson. I don’t recall these “birthers” and other groups protesting the creation of Medi Care. Carter was the closest thing to a liberal, but even he was was to the right of Richard Nixon on certain economic issues, “liberal light” if you will. But when Patrick Buchanan is “happy” about a President’s “security” measures- - - good gosh!. President Obama wants to increase the number of troops in Afghanistan to 65,000 –if we aren’t there already. There seems to be no end in sight. To me, and in my letter to Dr. Levy I said this- - “How many battles is enough. How many wars is enough? How many of Them to we have to kill to get closure for the events of 9 – 11?" We lost 4,000 in Iraq, which is more than we lost in the Twin Towers. To me that strikes me as a losing proposition right there. I said that these celebrations of 9 – 11 were taking on an obsessive “broken record” quality. Each annual celebration is indistinguishable in solemnity from any other one. As I said in the other file I was disheartened by the remarks made on the Mc Laughlin report on Saturday night. Now they are saying that the AG should not investigate the abuses of the CIA - - AT ALL. Not even when the CIA violated the Bush Administration's own "enhanced" guidelines. Instead we should be pining a medal on them for torturing a guy a hundred and fifty times. “Why, these people were patriots and heroes”. (Gee, what movie does this sound like?) Can you picture Barry Goldwater micromanaging the Viet Nam War in 1965 the way Dick Chaney seems to think he is a shadow government with all of his remarks in books and to the media? I’m getting a little sick of it. Whatever happened to the idea of showing the President of the United States a little respect, as conservatives used to preach?

Wolframalpha.com has their other site “Math World” and indeed they have several sites you can go to. There are so many categories and sub-categories in mathematics. Did you know, for instance they listed Trigonometry under Geometry and not its own category? Did you know also that hyperbolic functions were not considered a part of trigonometry but instead a division of calculus? They also had a major division called “recreational math” and under these were things like magic squares and magic circles. As you know this was one tentative name the Revolver album. In the singular “The Magic Circle” was what the Mamas and Papas were going to call themselves, but “Magic Circles”, plural, referrs to math. Just in case you were wondering.

Nationalize "American International Group"

It’s time for a lot of us including this writer to make a reluctant departure with a cherished belief, and that is personal property rights. It’s time for the Federal Government to Nationalize the banks, notable American International Group, or A I G. There seems to be no way around it. President Obama doesn’t want to do this because he has surrounded himself with Wall Streeters not all that different from the people Clinton or Regan surround himself with. In the same vein I say if we are going to go for National Health Insurance at all, another move I am reluctant to make, then we have to make a clean break with the past and go for the single payer health plan. One woman on a radio show says she didn’t vote for Hillary Clinton in the primaries because “She wanted it to be a requirement that everyone get private health insurance”. She had hoped that Berock Obama would be different. The thing is with A I G they are taking $165 Million dollars in bonus payments. While compared to the billions the government has already paid out, it’s still a lot of money to the rest of us. I don’t see why a “traditional” conservative would not balk at this waste and corporate welfare. Pat Buchannon may be upset about the stock holders “taking a bath” but it seems to me that these companies are already pretty close to insolvent anyhow, and I don’t imagine that stock holders have that much left of their equity. I don’t know how “Nationalization” works entirely. Is it just legalized theft by the government of private enterprise? Wouldn’t it be possible for the share holders to be compensated envoking the laws of Eminent Domain? The thing is that they say that the Government already owns eighty percent of A I G anyhow. If conservatives believe that “property ownership gives you rights” then by my way of thinking, and check out my math- - it would seem that a 62.5% percent vote of Congress would be enough to pass any law regarding the corporation. You see you just divide by 4/5th.

What is clear is that nothing else will work. Obama wants to threaten and cajole them or somehow “use leverage”, meaning he’ll give them another three hundred billion if they will just cancle the bonuses. This really is burning down the barn to get to the rats. The government believes it would cost double the 165 Million figure to take AIG to court and stop the payments that way. There is decay in our system and we aren’t dealing with it. You would not send your dentist a photograph of yourself smiling and ask him to make a full dental diagnosis from that. Just as Christians claim ( - ) that corruption runs so deep in the human soul it takes Divine Intervention to remedy the matter and nothing short of an act of Divine Sovereignty will suffice- - so it is that you can’t cure dental decay by slapping on a whitening solution- - or just patting the same crooks on the back while Congress continues to throw money down a rat hole. Conservatives will not hesitate to say such measures as The Great Society don’t work with the poor- - - so why should they work with the rich? You’ve heard the adage that if you give a poor person a million dollars he will spend it all in ten years in ten years and be broke again. Likewise if a rich person gives away all his money, in ten years he will have earned all his money back again. Such are the ways of money. Timothy Geitner may be the problem because his speeches are so universally regarded as too complicated for the man on the street to understand. People have said, “What harm will it do to temporarily nationalize certain banks and then return them to private hands after we’ve got them on their feet?” If you dry out a drunk for thirty days, at least he’s got a fighting chance of making it now.

The price of cigarettes has been skyrocketing with several hikes in the same brand and prices in general seem to have gone up fifty percent in the past month. How ironic it would be if President Obama’s actually had a negative impact on the poor and people like me, rather than the other way around. I don’t see why we need a regressive tax such as cigarette tax hikes in this time and circumstance. As to the money President Obama has promiced, it hasn’t arrived and there is no real indication of when it will.

The stock market is continuing up on the news that housing construction is sharply up. Evidence continues to mount that we have rounded the economic corner. Meanwhile the secretary of the Federal Reserve says on Sixty Minutes that we were much closer to an economic melt-down last fall than anyone cares to admit. It’s a sad thing that most of us peons out here in the real world don’t know what to believe any more. You know, if Ross Perot were President I bet we wouldn’t have this problem because he believed in “Straight Talk”, as Franklin Roosevelt believed in straight talk. But today there are no Davids out there to overthrow the Corporate Goliaths.

One More Time Around the Block - - -

I could like to call this essay “Einstein’s Theory of Relativity for Twelve Year Olds”. There was a story on a talk radio program last week where there was this one classroom of twelve year olds, one may presume mostly boys, where the kids were sitting on the floor and on the window sills just having a “bull session” apparently, engaged in heeded discussions. My take on any proposition is that if you can’t explain or “disseminate” it (big word) to an intelligent twelve year old, you’ve got a major problem on your hands. The argument against the Theory is a similar one to Robert Cumming’s arguments on behalf of Margo Wendice in the movie “Dial M for Murder”. He says, “It all comes down to the jury not believing her story- - and for the jury believing the faboricated incident about “seeing C A Swan at Victoria Station about the same time that Margo lost her hand bag”. Just two little premises like this can knock reason into a cocked hat. In order to “sell” the theory of relativity you likewise have to “buy into” some rather simple but absurd propositions. First you have to believe that light is NOT bent by gravity when it goes past a massive star. This is one of the so called “proofs” of the theory. The idea being that is light is not bent but by “definition” is straight but you have no other choice than to believe that space itself is bowed or contracted by gravity. For the next proposition you have to disbelieve Einstein’s OWN WORDS elsewhere in his argument. You have to deny that said gravity is one & the same for purposes of physics as Accelerat-ING matter, but rather that Accelerating matter is identical to Accelerat-ED matter. The final leap of faith you have to undergo is that light really isn’t a wave as we know like sound is, and as such is NOT affected by the “doppler effect”. You better read these three propositions over again before we go further. Having thrown out these three - - facts, we are free to invent our own reality. The next thing I want to do is to talk about mathematical formulas. I have a formula for gravitational acceleration otherwise known as the “gravitational constant”. I also have a formula for hyperbolic hyperbolic trig functions. Both formulas “work” precisely as they’re “supposed” to but neither is the one I’ve seen on-line. One looks at E = M x C x C and this bears little resemblance to the “functional things” we are taught about the Theory. Rather the formula would go something like this: As the speed of an object approaches light the gap in matter speed and the speed of light narrows. At ninety percent of the speed of light only ten percent of the speed is the “gap”. Now- - you take that factor of ten and slow time down by that much, and you shrink space by that much in ONE direction, and you increase Mass by that much, or ten times. Now before you throw a spaz- - the actual numbers are attenuated from the ones I have used. For instance nine tenths shrinks down to a factor of two or something. I’ll tell you what. Let’s make it the square root of ten – OK. That would be just over a factor of three. Are you following? Now for the final pies de resastance- - let me give you a real life picture of the theory in action. Picture a two hundred meter foot race. Now picture the track shrunk down to twenty meters rather than 200. OK? According to ordenary logic- - let’s go back to our Gravity verses Accelerat-ING matter. Make the leap in logic and say accelerat-ING matter is the same is Accelerat-ED matter. In our example, as you may surmise, the runners are all running approximately nine tenths the speed of light. (given our previous caviat) Because we deny the Doppler effect- - we “assume” that time has physically slowed down. And it’s a deductive fact that when time slows down mass increases. Every time you see mass it’s a function of time. Were time to run backwards mass by definition would have to go negative- along with space in one direction. If we assume the shrinkage of one the other conclusions must logically follow. We assume space shrinks because we “proved it” with telescopic observations of Mercury during a solar eclipse in 1919. We assume time slows down because of the Doppler affect “Cant” be the answer because they say it doesn’t exist. As far as the people running the race are concerned- “Mark, have I got your theory right?” - - then the people in the race perceive themselves as running in normal time and ten times as far because spacially they have shrunk. Since their sense of time is wrong they don’t “know” that their mass has increased by a factor of ten. Do you have the picture? Now here are some bonus facts that I’m throwing in for free: According to modern physics, the nature of the atomic particles determines the nature of the space around them. Hence, anti-matter cannot exist in our universe. Black holes cannot exist - - for a whole host of reasons. Produce a Black Hole and the theory of relativity goes Bye Bye.

Gordon Gecko verses Bible Prophecy

This is one of these "verses" things like America's Funniest Home Videos. I don't know if you're into any of what they call the psychic arts, be it crystal ball reading, tarot cards, tea leave reading, palmistry, or astrology. But if you are perhaps you're a little annoyed at Christians, notibly Jesus Christ of KFI "dissing" your favorite vehicle of choice. These people love to make claims such as "Not one verse of Bible prophecy has ever failed in over two thousand years". Sounds pretty impressive, doesn't it. Jesus of KFI has been so bold as to state "Of all the psychic and prognosticative arts, astrology has the poorest track record of any of them". I can tell you from personal experiance that my own predictive powers are way above those of chance. Sometimes it's important to look for key words- - in this case "Personal Experiance". If I were to make a prediction such as "The stock market has probably made its all time low. We will probably see a downturn in the market the next couple of weeks, but the lows won't take out the lows we saw on Monday" this prediction would be made by your sticking a microphone in my face, and turning on the machine and rolling tape, recording my words. And when I was done with the prediction I wanted on the record I'd say, "This concludes my predictions". Then you would have me on the record. But what about the Bible? How much of the Bible is prophecy? Well, a Christian would say "Well- - all of the major prophets, all of the minor prophets, plus Psalms and Proverbs, I guess". Out of a typical Bible how many pages do you suppose that would take up in the Book. Three hundred? OK, let's go with that. These people will say there are 298 prophecies about Jesus Christ that have come to pass. What they won't say is that there are about 1,800 predictions of Jesus' second coming that haven't come true yet. That already makes them one for six. But then they will point to the odds of even a few incidents being predicted. How many points are you prepared to spot them. What odds will you give them saying "OK, I grant that it's, say 100 to one". How high are you prepared to go? One thousand to one? One million to one? How about ten billion to one? Do you want to concede that the odds may be ten billion to one that the events they say the Bible predicts just happened by chance? I'm going to show you a valuable lesson here so watch and learn. OK now we have to do just one more thing. On any given page of "prophecy" what percent of a "typical page" to they actually quote? We're doing averages now so give me a figure. Ten percent? So on the average they quote ten percent of prophecy they call their own? We'll be generous. We'll grant them ten percent, per page. Now start counting pages, each at ten to one odds. So at three pages in we are already at one thousand to one. Keep multiplying each figure by ten till you come to three hundred or ten to the three hundredth power. Now, take that answer and divide it into the Ten Billion to one figure we mentioned before. Suddenly ten billion doesn't look so big any more, does it? But I'll go you one better. Take their favorite, most prized passages of scripture and just use that, allright? Many say that Isaiah 53 is their nearest and dearest scripture. This has to be predictive of Jesus, doesn't it? Well, these verses say that the Survant was esteemed as worthless and lived a life full or sorrow and that one and all called him worthless and accursed by God, ect. ect. Now, reading the Gospells, how many people in every day called Jesus "worthless" or "Good for nothing" or a "neglegable person"? Where in all the Gospells does it say Jesus didn't have any friends, you know like the classic nerds they always mention in High School that sit in the back row of the band room. You mean Jesus was never called a nerd? Jesus was never ignored or dismissed as a nothing? In the gospells people divided into two classes. Those who thought he was the true Messiah and those who thought it was a misleading false messiah. But nobody but nobody regarded him as unimportant. So to quote an old movie, "See you really did have a Wonderful Life". I just have one more line I want to bring to your attention. The one that states "I (God) will allot him a portion with the great". No, I'm not disputing that Jesus was rewarded for his suffering. I'm making another point. I'd like you to focfus on two words, they are "Allot" and "Portion". If you allot something you Give it, to someone that didn't previously have it. And the word Portion suggests, that Jesus shared this reward he received with Others. What does this do to Jesus' claim of pre existant sovreign Deity? I really don't know! Don't look now but Gordon Gecko is selling the air craft plant. He's reviewed the financial figures again and decided putting in Comdominians would be more profitable. If you don't sleep with whores, you don't wake up with them the next morning.

Now I'd like to turn my attention to Bernie Madoff. Perhaps you've heard how badly the Securies and Exchange comission screwed up in the Bush Administration. Whistle blowers were willing to put everything at risk because they wanted to take this fellow down. For Bernie Madoff it's do not pass go, do not get two hundred dollars, go straight to jail. So far he's in a "Club Fed" type place where he spends an exausting day of ping pong playing and TV watching. And these ogres insist that he get a full night's sleep from eleven PM to 5:30 AM. He's lucky he doesn't have it worse. You know in the movie Wall Street, Buddy Fox not only was willing to sacrifice his vast income, but also his reputation with his father's company not to mention going to jail despite turning State's Evidence. Buddy Fox may never have been even touched by the SEC people. He with his own hand brought the SEC hammer down and blew his own brains out. But just to play Devi's advocate for a moment, do you suppose all those people Bernie Madoff bilked out of money- - were altruistic people totally lacking in any personal greed? I think not. People used to making lots of money are "used to" the idea of fantastic rationalizations of how they got it. And to play Devil's advocate again- - let's talk about Blue Star Airlines in the movie "Wall Street". They said "If Gecko wouldn't have dismantled the company someone else would have and Buddy Fox wouldn't be able to stop it, as he WAS able to stop Gordon Gecko. I see Blue Star Airlines as "My Life". It pretty much sucked before I ever had anything to do with Born Again. It's not dickerong over WHAT happened, but it's only a case of "Do you want to be the one pulling the trigger? Think about it.
