Well - - - You Try!

Tom Hartman's show has been picked up on KTLK 1150 and two other stations this week. He's a pretty tuned in liberal guy. He pointed out that the median age of that Iraq War Comission report was 71 or something and that the people who participated in that committee had questionable backgrounds. Today Tom Hartman informed us that he was a Christian and that Christ is a liberal. He talked about how the Christmas tree legond goes back to a time ten thousand years ago when mankind was just coming out of the ice age and sometimes "winter" lasted all year. Apparently there's a tribe in Vermont whose oral tradition goes back ten thousand years and they can remember all this. It seems as if one day as it approached the winter solistis and the Priest knew this because he had one of those many callendar stones- - he decided to go to a mountain and set a Christmas tree on fire in an effort to "re-create" the sun. Evergreen trees were held to have magical powers. In Egypt they did not have evergreen trees so they used palm trees. There is a lot of ZAC mythology (that's true) about various trees. Zachery lived on Palm St. when he was born because the Palm stands for new birth in Egypt. Zachery was born on September 5th. which is the maximum flood tide of the Nile in Egypt. On March 3rd. 1977 new live growth sprouted from a dead stump of an orange grove that had been that way at least ten or eleven months, since I moved in. Orange oil as you know is now used to kill termites. So the spirit of Zachery protects from termites. While at the Bosc house the owners had a beautiful Ash tree cut down, and palm tree frons sprouted in its place. This was taken to be a sign from Zachery. In England as you know they burn a Yule log on Christmas eve, which magically turns into a Christmas tree the next morning. My grandmother played off of this myth because after my dad and uncle went to bed my grandmother would trim the Christmas tree and the next morning my dad and uncle would awake and my grandmother would tell them Santa Clause brought the Christmas tree. As you know Mark Hartman is concerned because Santa Clause's home is threatened. If the Arctic Ocean turns to all water in the summer, Santa Clause will have no place to live. Ken Galliger had a guest on KFI last Saturday who said that only four polar bears have actually died in this alledged melting of the polar ice sheet in Hudson Bay. I had been felt that this sudden loss of ice was decimating the polar bear community. If Rush Limbaugh or Larry Elder were to comment on this they would say like an unemployed fifty year old who had been laid off, the Polar Bears just need to learn to adopt alternate hunting behavior rather than allow themselves to be killed off.

When George Burnes as God was asked if he had made any mistakes he said, "Avacados. I made the pits too big". "God" constantly seems to use the phrase, "Well, you try". God is big on the past and the present, but when it comes to things that haven't happened yet, God hasn't a clue, and this is why he's always doing these "tests". Because he doesn't know the outcome. Unlike Tom Hartman I find myself unable to believe in Christianity. Partially evolution is kind of an intellectual block. But more importantly is the FACT of Predestination. As we have said, scientists have now proved predestination as part and parcel of the Big Bang creation process. Under predestination everything God does is perfect in His Own Eyes. Under this theory there is no sin because there is no Free Will. Man is born totally depraved and utterly unable to help himself to better moral karma. That's untill Irrestable Grace comes along to those pre-elected to receive it. Again, though- - this isn't really "Classic Christianity". John Calvin's theology is at odds with the Bible. If you're a relativist you might say "I'm proud of my own morals and it's God that's depraved. Look at the state of the world. If this is the best God can do- - I'll go elsewhere in search of God." You know- - a lot of people think religion is trial and error. You "try something" and see if it works. Tom Hartman was just saying how FDR's slogan in 1932 was "Let's TRY a few different techniques. I'm not an idiolog; I'm a pragmatist. Let's wee what works" John Denver oviously met a God who said "well, you try". I guess Denver's whole role in the movie was TRYING to bring God's word to the masses. I'll leave it to you to decide whether he succeeded. George Bush now says he's on a "listening" tour and he's going to TRY something he hasn't tried before in Iraq. We'll leave it to history to decide whether he succeeds. People who are experimentive usually are not concerned about their place in history. John and Yoco put out a lot of strange albums in their day. They were TRYING out different sounds. I'm more grandiose than John. If I put out an album I'd want it to be recognized as a historical masterpiece in my lifetime. Rush Limbaugh has stated however (contrary to what I think) that "People who are obcessed with their place in History don't have their eyes on the present, the here and now, and don't see what NOW needs to be done about a problem. It may well be that some of the great Profiles in Courage, or profiles in history people, may NOT have been looking at the history books when they did their couragious act but were simply being "Led by the Spirit in the here and now". John Lennon has spoken of a good song as being led by the Spirit" and not a "make-a-song". John was kind of a believer in "If I turn on a tape recorder, the Spirit will Come". (and produce a masterpiece) Having said all this I would now like to describe "Classic Christianity" so you people know what it is.

First of all God when he began creating was as green as grass. He was ignorant about human nature. After all, he hadn't created it yet. God seems not to be in control of his creations but either by happenstance or deliberately- - allows Free Will to come in. God created the Angelic Host to serve and worship him. He created Lucifer as choir director to lead the music, and created him the most beautiful creature of all. You've heard "Pride comes before a fall". John Lennon said it, and the Bible also said it. Listening to an evening Bible Study around Labor Day I was struck by this whole Pride thing and then wondered, "Does that mean that God regards Beauty as a Mistake". Do we have to suffer through inferior worship songs through all eternity merely because the most Tallented person is working for the other side?" Martin Luther alledgedly said, "Why should the Devil have all the good music?". There was war in heaven and the hosts of angels on Jehovah's side outnumbered Satan and his demons two to one, and Satan and his demons fell from heaven. They landed on earth and they set up cities or "dwelling places" as Jeremiah informs us. But they persisted in their sin and God wiped them out and sent the Devil and his legion hosts to Hell. Technically it's called "tarterus" or a "holding place". We are told there there are "mists of darkness". It is to these fallen angels, or departed spirits (or demonic hosts) that Jesus preached to when he "Descended into Hell". There is nothing about "liberating" anybody in this passage in Peter. These were spirit beings and "immortals" as opposed to humans, which are called "mortals". God did not stoop to help immortals when they fell but did reach down to help fallen mortal man and to "redeem the world".

This redeeming of the world began by re-creating or "replemishing" the surface of the earth, and that word "replemish" is used. The whole Universe had become Evil and captive to Original Sin. But in this sea of Evil, God set aside an island of good, which is called Paradise, or the Garden of Eden. God made the animals and man. It is said that creating woman was a mistake. Legond has it the offending fruit was a palmagranet and not the apple. Creating woman did not immediately introduce sexual activity. Sex seems to have come about when man fell due to temptation of the woman and the serpent. God ran an experiment with man and it failed. After the fall it says "Man knew his wife". It would seem that God did not origionally intend sex but that "Man" would be happy there in the garden tending to the animals eating food from the Tree of Life". After the fall of Man, God instituted the Priesthood of Adam. This is something you learn about in really orthodox churches. In this capacity Cain didn't have his sins pardoned because he failed to bring about the right sacrifices to Jehovah. As such Cain wa damned before he even committed murder. Jehovah also instituted at this time the doctrine of blood atonement. This is that the Innocent can be bloodily sacrificed so that the guilty may be redeemed. Without this doctrine of blood atonement Christianity could not exist. Blood atonement was a fact from the git-go.

The angels were referred to as the Sons of God. Jesus shied away from the term "Son of God" preferring the term "Son of Man". This may be because in Genisis we read that the Sons of God had illicit sex with the daughters of man. Lucifer was a Son of God. In Job we learn that Jehovah took counsil from Lucifer. He not only dialoged with him but allowed Himself to be perswaded by Lucifer, even though he was "a liar and a murderor". As a consequence of Jehovah's ill advized behavior the Witness of God was compromized and Job suffered. Scripture was violated that states "Give no place to the Devil". This is yet another "mistake" God made. At the Tower of Babel we learn that God didn't want us working together to build an observatory. Apparently God feared man could get to Heaven where man was forbidden to go. So God caused diverse languages to occur so man would be diverse upon the earth, only to repent later that God had made man at all so decided to wipe him out in the flood. God instituted circumcision even though Dr. Deen Edell says this leads to a desire for oral sex and women prefer the sexual techniques of uncircumcised men. Was this a mistake to order circumcision? God made others. God wanted to see if Abraham would commit an act of murder that was clearly forbidden under Genisis 9:6. After Abraham raised the knife to kill his son Isac God said "I know NOW that you will do anything I say" -even if it's wrong. God made another mistake. Abraham's wife Sarah had told Abraham to get Haggar her hand maiden to bear a son for Abraham so that he have an heir as God promised. And it was so. But now thirteen years later Abraham pulls a "Sean Brady". As you know Sean Brady met a prostitute who helped and conforted him when nobody else did. She came to live with Sean. But now Sean's "wife" comes along (even though they were never married) and says to get rid of the prostitute. So Sean in essence says "I can't have sex with you any more, for you are a prostitute and I've gotten religion. Therefore I'm kicking you out of my house". This is what Abraham did with Haggar and her son Ishmeal. Ismeal was remembered by Jehovah God and he became the father of the Arab nations. So the Jews had to pay the bill for Abraham's sin of ingratitude. Were Sean to get the same deal, Willow, the prostitute should present him with a bill for her two months of sexual services. Let's see. At a hundred dollars a pop and sex fifty fimes that would come to a tidy piece of change- about five thousand dollars". But God made other mistakes. God is spoken of in the plural and in investigating the sin of Sodom and Gamorah says "Let us go down and see if the sin is alltogether as bad as reported, and if not, I will know it". After destruction, Lot's wife was turned to a pillar of salt. That was a mistake. Because the Hebrews believed in racial endogamy and so there was no one for Lot to have sex with. So Lot had to have sex with his two unmarried daughters, one night apart. So you have incest as the bi-product of divine wrath. Lastly I'd like to talk about King David. It is said "God has no grandchildren". I can see why. Because if his children DID have kids they would be so screwed up devolution would proceed at an unbearable rate. David's four children most often referred to are Amnon, who raped his sister, Absolem and Adonijah were rebels. Joab alias "Bones" in the ZAC followed Adonijah but not Absolem. Solomon was into pagon religion and at that time the "Sodomite" was in the land. (In a book the Secret Passage of the Lion, Solomon actually lived prior to David, for those of you mixed up in your history". But it would seem that like God, David had no children who were fit to be a shining example. A prophet said "As a result of your sin with Bathsheba, the sword will never depart from your house all your days". I wonder whether this isn't some curse against Christianity. For Christianity not only sex but children appear to be a mistake. St. Paul said "In these distressed times with Jesus coming back soon, it's better not to marry". This looks to me like another "mistake". It is said that in as much as Melchidizeck, king of Salem (Jerusalem, in Abraham's day) was without father and mother or descendants, so must the Messiah be. This ignores the fact that those in the know say the king of Salem was none other than Shem, the son of Noah and very much IN the geniology. People say Chuck Smith is really cold and detatched once you get to know him- - like his sons do. He's only following in the steps of our example, King David, who is revered, but the one thing he couldn't do is rear children. And yet the Messiah is said to be David's son. According to a Bob Dylan song, Mary Magdolane was pregnent (with a daughter, Sarah) at the time Jesus, the father, was crusified and "left town".

For Whom the Bell Tolls

Well, Quazimoto is ascenting those belltower steps even as we speak - step - step -step, and pretty soon he'll be pulling the rope on the Bush adminestration. That long awaited laboriously produced bi-partizan report on the Iraq War was finally released. As they say, they labored and brought forth a mouse. What a big bunch of nothing. Maybe I should buy the book. It's just a way to extend the Iraq War two more years and get more people killed, and them we can admit it was a fiasco. Rush Limbaugh points out that these people don't have any real authority to decide anything as they make their "79 Commandments". It's what the generals on the theater of war think that really counts. I'd like to hear from them. How can you trust a report that says the Iraq War is a "grave and deteriorating situation". It sounds like a patient ready to be toe tagged if there ever was one. As I have said previously the smartest thing we can do is to get out as expiditiously as possible and don't look back. Rush has even said that "We sometimes need to let the natural forces take over". Rush has also said "Peace comes after a war after one side has clearly defeated the other". The odds favor the Shiites. If so we can claim victory over the insergent supporters of Saddam and Al Qaida, can't we? Isn't that what we were fighting for to begin with. To expunge Al Qaida? If our enemies are fighting each other that means they won't have time to fight us. We are obcessed with 9 - 11. To tell you the truth I bet a lot of the younger fighters have forgotten all about that. Since they are mostly young, as young people do they will change and evolve and mature as the years pass. For Bush to say it's some conspiricy against him personally that they're fighting for - seems more than a little paranoid. Of course we know now that George Bush was a candidate for fetal alcohol sidrone because Barbra like to down the Scotch while she was pregnent with him, and many see facial features of fetal alcohol sidrone looking at Bush. The one thing President Bush doesn't do is think. He's like an obcessed sea captain out of a Bogard movie seeimg himself as the center of his own universe. He's unable to step back and assass what needs to be done for this nation in the next two years. What are our own needs? In some ways these conservatives are like an old fire horse that charge every time they hear the bell - not that they've ever served in the Armed Forces to begin with, but they act as though they had. I guess I'm personally getting tired of all these conservatives re-living World War II over again. The only thing is they never lived it the first time around. Most of them wern't born yet. So many people are always fighting the last war, or in this case, several wars back, over again instead of looking at the War that's ongoing now. There are economic inequities in the world - - and trade imballances. There is lack of pay for workers and child exploitation in countries we trade with. Harry Truman described War profetiering as treasonous, and Lord knows there has been enough of that. I don't know if anything will come of talking with Iran or Syria but skilled negotiators have been known to accomplish amazing things. If you watch Star Trek you know that. A lot of time its a matter of steering people twords your objectives giving them the illusion it was their own idea. To paraphraise John Kennedy, "All this may not be accomplished in the first one hundred days or the next one thousand days, But Let Us Begin". I personally am not worried about all those terrorists coming over here and "following us home". I think privately we are a technological inspiration to them and a psychologist might say that voiced hostility tword us is like a petulant teenager lashing out against her parents. Part of the problem I believe is that Bush is ignorant of Islam, as he is about so many things. Perhaps if he understood Islam better he could speak their language and have a successful pow-wow. I don't see negotiations with our enemies as something we have to do because we're afraid of war. Rather it's something that can be done to increase the overall enlightenment in the world. All these Islamic hysterics will play itself out as the years pass, and they see how pointless it all is. The thing is, if there ARE dangers out there in the Future it will probably come from an entirely unexpected source. These perals, if they come, will come because we in our obcession with the past are ignoring the present. Anyhow, these are my thoughts on the subject of war. People act as if the United States no longer had enormous power. I think we are a much more well prepaired nation than we were before 9 - 11. I think as a natural course of events we will continue to increase securety as ports and airports and ware-houses. If nothing else this is where Party competition can be a good thing.

I would like to speak briefly about stuff I've been reading about Calvary Chapel. You can find anything on line. About a month ago I read that Lonnie Frisbee, a one time assistant pastor at Calvary, turned out to be a homosexual and died of AIDS in March of 1993. But since 1971 Chuck Smith hasn't totally trusted him. Pete Richards indicated to me he didn't entirely trust Lonnie Frisbee either, but I don't remember why. Something doctrinal. Of course Pete Richards (to those of you who know his real identity) is another person that left the Calvary Chappel system under circumstances that are mysterious even to this day. Now there is another success story for Satan to gloat over. Chuck Smith's son, Chuck Jr. has been de-frocked as a Calvary pastor and his link taken off Calvary publications. This is a truely sad development and a major victory for Satan, if Satan hates the Calvary Chappels as much as everybody thinks. It seems Chuck Jr. has had religious doubts and depression that would sometimes come upon him. The other thing is that he liked to maintain a dialog with the homosexuals in Laguna Beach. Chuck senior is spoken of as having an illusion of bubbling friendliness, but off camera he can be rather cold and distant, not to mention un-caring. For the LA Times to get a hold of this story and put it on the internet really blows the lid off this family solidarity all the Calvary pastors like to project, giving the illusion that their kids have some sort of "Jesus gene". When you see falability in others it makes you realize you're not the only one with problems.

Allright. I dug deep into the asteroid cravases of my mind and came up with these songs, before the Romulans could steal them. This is disk four because disc three is another add-on that started off life like this one as an independant. It was either that mystory track on STP's second album or Star Wars closing credits and decided either way was geeky so I picked the one that would most blow your mind. I'm letting Nick write this text. Actually we decided to drop the number because these are long songs. I have Chelsea on Days of our Lives to thank for "Passion" and Randy Rhodes to thank for Dr. Feel Good. I guess we'll come up with a good cover picture for the todal dour disc boxed set one of these days.

I respond to most links I read but a blog commenter sent one yesterday I didn't hit. I guess you could say my radar antenna was going off. Most of the blog comments I've gotten have been a little off the wall. So far there haven't been any with what I'd call in depth comprehension. In terms of my physical appearance, in case Chelsea wants to know, I physically resemble Dr. Phill roughly, except I look about ten years younger. "What you see is what you get", as you-know-who says. Actually I think I'm starting to grow back my hair on top. The barber was spending more time yesterday than I expected. A couple of months ago someone said I reminded them of the Rev. Chuck Smith. I wish I had his charisma.

Here are a few more Undeniable Truths

When I was in the hospital in Los Alametos those first ten days in early June of 2001, I often had detailed dreams such that I often felt “trapped” in my dreams and did elaborate things like go out and feel a brick pillar that was holding up the building just to prove that the dream was real and I wasn’t imagining it. I felt as though whatever Life I had before was gone and that this new “Dream” existence was the real one. You might say I had the Experience that the spirit and consciousness is real and that whatever “Life” you have can be defined as the psychological state of Consciousness. That your en-grams follow you from consciousness to consciousness. If you are now a giant insect, then that is now your life, your whole present reality. (Selah) The spirit can be defined as that part of you that is the Will and Consciousness and that when it is associated with a particular body, then that body can be considered your “house” or an extension of your spirit.

Perhaps the first thing that struck me upon entering Eternity, besides Ernest Hemingway there as my guide and realizing I knew him already, was that this was a place I had been to many times in the past already. It suddenly occurred to me that I had no need for anyone to explain to me anything, for I already knew everything about everything including why my life was, and would be messed up. What can you say? God is an asshole. Though I suddenly knew about obscure math terms such as hyperbolic trig functions and “Taylor Searies” equations and graphs, I also knew something else. I knew (a) that I couldn’t change a thing about anything that I knew and (b) that this was a place I could not remain in for long but would return to that blissful illusion that people describe as “Life”. I could think about things that were more future than other things but had no immediate conception of where I had just come from. I only knew “stuff” like that Mit Romney would be elected President of the United States defeating Hillary Clinton and that he would be nominated on the third ballot of the Convention and that would be a first since 1948 or so, and that he would be our first Mormon president. Ernest reminded me that the ZAC house was owned by Mormons in Las Vegas. I thought of the nuclear haulocost that struck in the late 2030’s and how it was inevitable that the conflagration come, and that trying to prevent it was like trying to solve a rubic’s cube puzzle in twenty seconds. It would an alliance between Iran and Kasacstan and Mongolia (global warming, kiddies!) that would set off The Bomb to prove a point. Obviously everybody knew it was a mistake from the moment that it happened but that didn't prevent certain other "chain reaction" world political events from occurring. Ernest Hamingway told me that my attraction to certain John Lennon Beatle songs in 1965 and 1966 and 1967 was due to narcicisum. He told me how and where I knew him from and also told me there were other truths I already knew; I just hadn’t thought of them yet. But I also knew that The Decider had caused the Big Bang to occur but had endowed certain parts of it with a Life Fource.

It is predicted that Ernest Hemingway will arise in the spirit realm as one of The Great Ones. The ancient Hebrews saw God as a plurality of people and not as just one person. It could be that “God” as we know it is a giant collective of all spirits who have ever lived or will ever live and that God’s will is a corporate composit of all of these. But that any Being “decides” only what it was Created to decide. But the ones who are Supreme arise from well aligned Karma and en-grams that help them or do not interfere with their karmic rise. That what is Good is defined by those in Power whether in Your opinion it is truly Good or not. That the powerful devas have a divine right to impose their sense of Ought and Justice on the rest of us. In this realm there is no time and no space and no matter as we know it. If you talk to a deva such as Ernest Hemingway for thirty minutes you aren’t merely wasting just that slice of a day, that you are taking it from evernity. One day this “Federation” will attempt to influence earth.

Jesus Christ never referred to Joseph as his father nor Mary as his mother. In the two instances in the Gospel of John where he addresses her he calls her “Woman”. When Jesus’s place of birth was being questioned by the Priests at Jerusalem, Jesus never said whether he was or was not born in Bethlehem. Jesus also neither confirmed or denied whether he was “born of fornication”. We know that at that time Jesus was not yet fifty years of age. How did he get so old? Many people asked Jesus where he came from and some asked where he was going, but he never gave a straight answer. All he said was he was going “Somewhere where you will not follow me”.

Christians are like packs of wolves. They feel secure in numbers. If you as an individual try to preach or practice Christianity as a witness to another you will fall flat on your face and feel like a fool. The way Christians get people to convirt is to see all the “happy” Christians around them and be given the en-gram feeling “Everyone is doing it so I better do it too”. Those acts which are of God and approved by God are those acts which God has predestined to occur regardless of anything. The certainty of their happening is metaphysically assured. Those acts which are successful are acts you do that are authored by God and the will of God. Those acts you attempt to do For God and which you fail act are considered works of the flesh and as wood, hay, and stubble destined to be burned in the Last Judgement. In order for anything to be accomplished it has to first be Possible. And with God only what is predestined is Possible.

Back around April 15th. 1975 I had a nightmare that was long and drawn out and among the scenes in it were being chassed around some observatory by demons and of hiding in the crevaces of those telescope dome things. There was a brick courtyard area like Griffith Park or Cypress College. The dream took place in Africa on or near the Nile and there were Egyptian Shakspherian actors performing called “The Egyptian Water Company”. So many of the mysteries of Christianity stem back to Egypt. Behold St. Mark, the founder of the Coptic Church, and also Matthew are Egyptian. In Egypt the secrets of people such as Judas Iscariot and Pontious Pilate are revealed. Unless you are able to make a stealthful Exit, behold, you will lose the War. People attempt to interfere or invade the realm of Osirus, lord of the Dead and the realm of the Dead and take over and liberate that realm. They tell you Death is of all things in life most to be feared. But the truth is that Life is not a thing measured in length of time but rather the Present Reality and the Joy of Existance. These Christians life for death and tell you that once Death comes they will shine because at last they’ve encountered something in their lives that they’ve conquered. But in reality they spend their whole lives as slaves to the en-grams that made them and rule them. (Selah)

Before Marcion arrived on the scene the Holy Catholic Church was not nearly so anti-semetic as it was to become. Marcion was a heritic, but a heritic with whom the Church struck an unholy compromise with. For in the early days people ate freely from the Tree of Life knowing neither good nor evil, nor that the universe was evil as Paul states in Collosions referring to “The (evil) elementary powers of the Universe) In the beginning such theology was unknown. For Christianity was founded by a Jew. Philo of Alexandria. And his theology pervaids Christian theology. To say that Philo of Alexandria never knew Christ is like saying Ice never knew Water. It is an artful half-truthy. The apostle Paul spoke of “Christians in Caesar’s household” and he was not speaking of the time of Nero but of the time of Dometian, who was a closet Christian and despised by all good “Gods” fearing Romans. Paul wanted to be accepted by the Church at Rome. Paul’s letters were not gathered up one by one from all the churches of Asia Minor where he sent them. The letters were always a corpus of theology to be reverenced. There is no place I know of where you can find out how the several churches of Asia Minor and places like Corinth responded and interacted with Paul and his letters. Marcion saw Paul and Luke, who were probably quite old in his time but living contemporaries, as bargaining chips to gain access to control of the Church at Rome, by which all Religiosity and Piety is defined in the world, as in the saying “World Without End, Amen, Amen”. “All the world” is a destiny with its locus of Power eminating from Rome, which to this day contains many other secrets it guards with its very Life.

Wheels Coming off the Wagons

It was the summer before last and I was at this "day care" place, as they call it called Green Harbor and a guy named Larry responded to one of my innocent comments saying "Yeah, the wheels are really coming off the wagons around here". My last time at Green Harbor was August 1st. 2005, and if Valerie is out there, please ring in. We now have a national situation that qualifies in my mind as inexplicable. I had kind of thought that after George Bush and the Republicans got wiped out in the congressional races, and all the other races, that George would "See the light" like Gov. Swartzenegger did and realize he couldn't go on the way he'd been going but "get religion" and make some dramatic changes, like Nixon or any other president would. But what's happening is that expert after expert is telling us that the Mideast War is lost. If we try A then B will happen, chich isn't good. If we try C then D will happen, which is even worse. That type of thing. The only way that is really open to us now is the Exit door. Bush only met with Malachai for two hours. My guess is that if it had been a really fruitful meeting, he would have met with him five or six hours, and perhaps more than one day. I don't think we have any assurance that the troops that get trained by the Iraqi government will be loyal to our side. Indications are they will be either loyal to the Sunis, Shiites, or Kurds. We can't run a war like that! We have lost three thousand troops. Let's look on the bright side. That's a lot less than in Viet Nam. If we leave now we can save ourselves a lot of Misery. This war has now lasted just longer than World War II for America. That's long enough. Everyone is saying how the military is taxed to the limit, and I really don't think the American public will except a draft. In this current age of equality, that may well prove to be women, too. Are we ready for that? There is a Captain Queeg like obcessiveness to George Bush's thinking now. You know in the Bob Woodward book, Rumsfeld says he didn't want our troops to be bogged down in Iraq like as are in Bosnia and Kosevo. Larry Elder doesn't hesitate to criticize that war for its humanitarian goals. (According to Larry, genocide is not sufficient reason to go to war) Clearly there are other uses those 135,000 troops could be put to besides being in the middle of a Civil War. We are so without a clue we don't even know which side we want to win! How can we participating in the fighting of it? Give our troops the bext Christmas present they could hope for and make an announcement that we are pulling most of our troops out, "with all deliberate speed".

Anne Richards made such a great Keynote speech at the Democratic convention in 1988. We all mourn her passing. She said that George Bush was a man who was born on third base and thinks he hit a tripple. She also said that a dead fish stinks from the head down. There is no doubt that moral darkness pervaided the final years of the Reagan adminestration. That congress did something I hope the current congress does not repeat. I didn't know till yesterday that Dick Chaney was actually a congressman back then during the Iran Contra hearings and that he was minority chairman of the committee. The majority chairman was a man called Lee Hamilton. I remember that name because Bob Dornen had said that the senator reminds him a little of Abraham Lincoln. My curiosity was peaked. I also heard that Lee Hamilton was against abortion. He was pro Life. But Lee Hamilson has another habbit. He likes to roll over and play dead. This democratic senate newly elected in 1986 refused to take the bull by the horns are possibly bring impeachment charges against Ronald Reagan for treasonous acts. Instead Senator Lee Hamilton sought to be "Bi-partisan". So he gives Oliver North immunity and gives him a microphone to let him spiew his propagandistic garbage to the American People on TV. And he's allowed to wear his military uniform. Pathological liars don't deserve to be rewarded with Immunity and given a microphone. Of course they don't deserve being a Presidential pardon either, along with Poindexter. Lord only knows what William Casey knows. He took the easy way out. He died. There are stories of drug dealing along with the bit about getting Isrial to sell Iran missiles and giving the money to the contras. But Lee Hamilton decided to delete that portion of the final report. I just hope this current new congress doesn't piss away its oppertunity to get George Bush. I don't think they should make any promises of what they will or won't do. Keep your options open. Callers on 1150 say, "I don't just want to see George Bush impeached; I want to see him in jail".

The wheels are coming off the wagons for the religious right in this country. Chuck Smith must be popping a lot of Elaville and Prozac these days. I know depressed he gets about these troubled times. You know- the right wing is like a desease. My first exposure to it goes all the way back to July of 1965. I was in a pre Algebra math class at Crescent Jr. High and people were talking about Jeane Dixon and how infallable her predictions were, and how she had predicted a bad earthquake for California or Colorado in June of 1965. All of these people seemed to look to an "End of the world" scenario about the year two thousand. The seeds were planted in my mind. That fall in 1965 I heard my first sermon on Revelations, from Harry Green, who usually doesn't dabble in "last times" theology. I remember what he said. He said that there is just as much possability of retrogression as there is in progression in society. As a liberal I had formerly thought that the wheels of progress moved inevitably forward. A liberal or progressive does see things "moving forward". But not the reactionary. Many of them such as Larry Elder seem to want to turn the clock backward to sometime in the Victorian age. Of course if we can't have that there's the idea that God will look down on society and End It All out of sheer disgust. This belief in a sudden end of things is called nihilisum. It's a belief that whatever life you have now won't go on much longer. It's kind of a belief that global warming and the ozone layer don't matter really. It doesn't matter how many trees we chop down or Amazon forrests we wipe out because after all God will be there to bail us out, and besides, we won't be around that much longer so talk about what our children will face is irrelivant.

There's one guy out there who seems to think I can make nine hundred dollars and have "fun" in the process. Maybe I could get a currier job for a criminal like Sean Brady and earn a lot of money quick. There is another character I'd like to comment on from that series and that is Bonnie Lockhart. She's like a money vacuum cleaner. She's like Colonel Tom Parker. She's got this nack for being money grubbing but with a tallent for making any money she gets to disappear. She kind of reminds me of the soul of Christianity. Christianity says "give me love and total devotion". But after being around them a while it's like being around a vacuum cleaner. They just suck you dry. Any devotion or spirit you have- - they now have it. And they keep coming back and they want more. You can only pronounce your love and devotion to God so many times and never quite be believed, before it's one game you get tired of.

Empires, Ethnicity, and Violence

First of all I want to comment a little about "The Holidays" in general. Isn't it funny that often you trek through busy airports and get there three hours early often braving incliment weather only to meet up with relatives whom you can't stand and are afraid you'll get into a conversation about religion or politics with. And none of the talk shows have live regular hosts. It's either a "best of" show or a substitute hose or something else entirely like Christmas music. If you turn on the TV looking for hard news you're likely to only get Holiday fluff.

There was a guy on 1150 radio saying when it comes to how much violence pervaids any civilization to remember the three E's. They are economics, empire and ethnicity. Usually violence will pervade a society or nation upon the decline or dissolution of an Empire alltogether. When the strong distator leaves, the mice will play. This is how it was in India in 1947 when the Brittish left and there was violence between Hindu and Moslem. In that case they decided to partition the country and we best learn from that experiance. It is said that George Bush has a "Wilsonian" approach to the world. Woodrow Wilson thought if the nations of Eastern Europe and in the Balkins were exposed to democracy then peace would spontaniously break out. But he went on to say that most or none of those democracies didn't last. It is said perhaps George Bush should have consulted a historian before going into Iraq. It is also said that the term of "Islamo-fasciest" is a misnomer, and that it is silly to think we can fight World War II over again. The whole thing with Iraq is that we sided with the Shiites. This is understandable because all of our "personal grudges" are with the Sunis, either with Saddam or else Al Qaida and Bin Laden. But 9 - 11 wasn't Pearl Harbor and to treat it as if it could be won with a conventional war was a mistake. Of course one conservative pundit (Bill O Riley?) said that if we left Civil War would break out. This has happened. He said that the Shiites would win and sympathisers of Al Qaida would be sent packing. I'm asking, "Is this a bad thing?". Obviously in any Civil War one side is going to win and one side is going to lose. I guess the first thing we Americans need to do is figure out whom we want to win. The liberals make one mistake. They say "The problem with all war is Hatred. If we could just get rid of hatret we'd be rid of all War". They see HATRED as some kind of a THING that comes out of nowhere and messes up an otherwise perfect world. Religious people do this, The conservatives make another mistake. Their whole thing consists of the buzzwords of "Weakness" and "Apeasement" and if we just didn't succumb to either of those two things there would be no problems in the world. Many conservatives want to fight the Viet Nam War over again. Besides having a political position of "Kill Them All" (like the Metallica album) this philosophy won't work. It would seem to me that right now the Shiite is the lesser of the evils right now. The Sunis attacked them yesterday, after all. Conservatives are alarmed by the prospect of some massive alliance wall with Hez Ballah and then Syria and Iraq and Iran, all in some massive anti US block. You know, there used to be a branch of communism (opposed to Bolshivisum) that said "in the end things will evolve and work themselves out the way we want them to. It would seem to me that we should take this "wait and see" stance with Iraq. We've done everything we can do militarily in Iraq, as far as I know. At least Henry Kissinger says so. I think in time the US culture will pervaid more of the mideast as it has already pervaided Iraq and Iran. There are segments of those societies that have already embraced our values. At the rate people get killed in the mideast, the young people, who are on our side, will be running the place soon.

And now a catigory of things stupid people like the Simpson's shouldn't Do

You don't spend your Christmas money on having your son's tatoo removed. You make him live with his mistake, if it is one. This is especially true if you are not sure you will ever get any more Christmas money from another source

You don't have your entire crew jump off an anchored boat in the water without someone checking to see if the ladder has been let down first.

If you're Lisa Simpson at a spelling bee and you're afraid you'll spell a word RIGHT because someone told you to throw the contest, you save your defiance speech till AFTER you have taken a stab at the word. If you spell the word wrong you won't have to make the speech.

You never play Truth or Dare with anyone more willing to play the game than you are. In fact, basically that is one game you never want to play at all.

If you're a Christian you never do or say anything that can be tested in the world that can be proven either right or wrong. I made this mistake in my Prophecy book listing times and places. (When you're right they never notice) Acting as if an imaginary God is actually real is, shall we say, stupid. (Selah)

You don't spend money for a war when you don't have it and have no set goal what you are even fighting for or a way to pay for it. A stupid person will never admit he made a mistake.

You don't cut housing equity when it's the only wealth asset people have actually prospered in the last few years. Growing rifts between rich and poor is short sighted economics, or as John Kennedy once said, "If a society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich" (Selah)

If someone asks you to do a favor for them you never commit to doing it without first asking what it is.

If the greatest of all sins is to claim authority from God you don't have, the stupidest thing you can do to insure the hottest place in hell is to claim to be the Messiah.

Welcome to version number three of this blog post. Some Christmas songs deserving of honorable mention not listed here are "Little Drummer Boy", "I'll Be Home for Christmas", "Here Comes Santa Clause" and "Santa Bring My Baby Back to Me" (the previous three songs by Elvis) "Sleigh Ride Together" by the Ventures, "Little St. Nick" and "The Man With All the Toys" by the Beach Boys, and yes there's that Mc. Cartney song we are dropping.

If the Beatles can do a repackage so can we. This is a nice little Christmas package to put in your basket this Christmas featuring one CD disk of regular songs and one CD disk of Christmas songs. The current count is 15 songs for the first CD and 17 for the Christmas CD. There will be other commentary with this blog once I get around to doing the rest.

He Crossed The Deadline

It's a Blue Oyster Cult song. It's also a concept. In certain prisoner of war camps they have what are known as dead lines. You cross that line trying to run away and you're dead. Sometimes this happens in reverse. That guy on Sixty Minutes last night crossed that etherial "dead line" into North Korea and he soon found out he'd made a horrible mistake. He found out he might as well be dead. His life as he used to know it ceased to exist. There are points of no return in the Bible. Some people say that Jehovah is an angry god. Some say that he is a merciful god. He usual gives you ample rope so that if you're a sinner you can hang yourself. Samson is a key case that comes to mind. The Lord gave him all sorts of latitude in his conduct. You or I could pray to have as much latitude. But there was a point and Samson pretty much knew where it was, that he knew he dare not cross and if he did it would be curtains. The hair bit was going too far. One should always watch what secrets they reveal to foreigners. In response many Christians today play the micro game saying any perceptable shortfalling, no matter how slight, might as well be a mortal sin. What they do is major on the minors and minor on the majors, or as Jesus would put it, they strain out gnats and swallow cammels.

Let's talk about political figures who have gone beyond the pale. People say that Ronald Reagan was a great President. I just don't see it. Other than some unprecidented union busting activity with the air traffic controlers his first year in office, he really didn't give the Republicans much to crow about. Under his watch in 1983 265 Marines in Lebanon or something were killed in a truck bomb attack. Reagan's response to that was to withdraw all trops from the middle east. It would seem Reagan was continuing the same cowering tradition begun under Ford and Carter. Then he makes an alliance with one of the most dangerous men in the Middle East, Saddam Hussein. People talk about how Hussein gassed people in Iran during the Iran Iraq war but it was actually US intelligence that Hussein was relying on in order to hunt down those troops and gas them. Then of course there was Iran - Contra. After saying we're for Iraq we turn around and sell missiles to their (and our?) enemy Iran and use the money to fund the contras, whose activity in Nicaragua was banned by congress. I can't think of an incident with graver fundamental constitutional questions than this. But the worst part of this is the way Reagan "friends on the right" reacted. Rather than see Oliver North as a scoundral who betrayed his President, per change Reagan was "out of the loop" they make Oliver North a hero when he says Ronald Reagan told him to do everything he did. I've never been able to follow that. If I were Patty David I wouldn't forgove my father if all the stuff about her parents in her book is really true. In my oppinion Reagan was passing into "The Dead Zone" as early as his second term in office becomming "disengaged" and there are ample evidences of where Nancy Reagan just "took over" using astrology. In my oppinion Ronald Reagan crossed The Dead Line. I think he squandered any oppertunity in my mind to have credibility.

We then have George H W Bush. One fact came to light today I didn't know. I knew that when we invaded Iraq in Gulf War I in 1991 that George Bush Sr. encouraged the Iraqi people, both the Kurds, and the Shiites to rebel and overthrow Saddam. They took him up on his offer. Many people including me were puzzle at news occurring so fast it made our heads spin, that we're on the march one minute and the next -preserving Saddam Hussein's pride the next. We then as much as said he could keep his hilocopters and his bombers to bomb his own people with after we were gone. We didn't waste time pulling out in those days. But what I didn't know till today is that we were in fact still there and watching Saddam bomb the Kurds and Shiites, with orders not to intervene. Officers spoke of that helpless feeling. I guess God must feel impotent a lot of the time knowing Satan has been alloted vast areas of power where it's against the rules of engagement to touch him. If we had done the job in 1991 right we never would have had to go there in 2003 and this President could worry about entirely different things.

Ron Hubbard has spoken of degrees of psychic health and I think way down on the roster are things like psychic Suicide and psychic death. In late 1969 I was on a downhill slide. As you know I had been assigned group therapy in Santa Ana, run by Al Kaders and Judy Valasquez, by Vocational Re Hab. That was their "job plan" for me. I underwent a lot of culture shock and listing to the board and care people talk it was like something out of "The Strawberry Revival" by Chich and Chong. I went away thanking God I had a house to live in. If they offered you a job you had never considered doing before and you hesitated- they would hold it against you. Soon all they would do is mention a job and before I could speak a corus of people would chine in "Oh you know he isn't going to take the job". I wrote my parents a letter the turn of the decade from 1969 to 1970 with the line in it "as for the future, it looks gosh awful". That was kind of a hillbilly choice of words but it expressed my sentament about the future. I had been doing these "Suicide" cartoons in the latter part of 1969. D day was November 26th. 1969 according to these cartoons. I dropped out of college sometime this semester and delayed telling the family. After they knew I continued to lie about being in college to group into the next semester when I finally came clean in late February. In my baby book by far the most recent "document" in there was dated late 1969 the content I won't reveal to this Blog croud but let's just say I cosider it the ultimate act of betrayal. I found out in early March- - it was on a Saturday night and we were headed out to a movie - - "Number One" and "Collisus" I believe, my Mom let it slip that Voc Re Hab had closed me out. I was stunned. What I learned soon after in group was that Stanley E Abott, whom I had seen as part of a Voc Re Hab "diagnostic" in March of 1969, had declared me Scitzophrenic. Once again I felt a sense of betrayal. I was thinking "The addage is true; the quiet ones are always the worst". On Friday March 13th. I got my draft notice. I believe it was exactly a month after Febuary 13th. when I learned I had lost my student deferment. I hoped, and recorded on tape in early April my hope that I could talk to the Army psychiatrists and prove to them that I was sane. Of course it didn't go down like that. They just had their questions of a routine nature they asked and that was that. On Monday April 27th. I had a lot of things I wanted to talk over at group therapy. As it turned out they didn't meet that day. I wasn't very happy about that.

Death comes to a physical body when it is no longer capable of sustaining life. I guess it's true that Spiritual death comes when the spiritual link to God is broken. Insanity comes when the mind is unable to keep the personality together. As I have been saying a lot lately I think the Body of Christ known as the Christian Church will cease to exist in a few decades. Perhaps as little as fifty years. Nobody who has looked to the future sees Christianity in it. I think this has to be more than just coincidence. Personally I think the two party system has got to crack sometime. It's become a religion in this country. People are talking about who is going to inheret the Bush mantle among the republicans. Their two leading candidates don't look promising. One if an ex mavorick progressive who has as of late sold out to the conservatives and done some royal ass kissing. The other bullwark of the right is a three times divorced pro abortionist and pro gay rights ex mayor of New York who had his few moments of fame in his last weeks in office during the 9 - 11 crisis. How long can the right continue to milk 9 - 11? I look at the republicans and I don't see anything holding them together except perhaps hatred of liberals. I personally think we need more morality and statistics indicate in some ways the Youth is becomming more moral than they were thirty years ago. But people talk about the Two Party System in America as though it's some religion! In this internet age I don't see how certain institutions like churches and Bible teachers can stand up under the scruteny. People seem to be talking more than ever to each other but they aren't getting any smarter. I think that soon gay marriages will be the norm. Once one party cracks "the gay barrier" the whole thing will come crashing down. Once gayness becomes generally accepted I don't think the church has a chance because hetrosexuals are going to look at gays and say "You're going to criticize MY conduct when THEY exist?" Once you cross the dead line you become an exile from life, an exile from God, Country, and eventually an exile from Reality.

Marcus Goes Underground

This is the story about how Marcus Arelius let his life slip away from him in the first five months of the year 1970 so that by early May he ended up in a mental instution. There on advice of a young intern named Eve Russel Marcus was referred to a Psychiatrist named Allester Crane. There Marcus was diagnosed not to be mentally ill at all because he was posessed by a female liberal lezbian demon named Denise DeLovely, who was raised by a Democratic Catholic single mother sith six kids. According to Dr. Crane you can tell demon posession from real mental illness because the person constantly shouts out stuff like "Piggies" and "Establishment" and are virently anti-Christian. Well actually I don't have the patience to write all that down. After looking over all my reference material I decided I'd be boring both you and myself. However this demon named Denise DeLovely was a dirty blonde with fair skin, blue eyes, and kind of short with a nice figure and looked about thirty at the time of her "signtings" in 1987 and 1988. According to Dr Crane (whose sanity is never to be questioned) she was a Cassiopian when the "cosmic gravity" in Marcus' world was controled by Alcion, alias Pliades Alpha. As such just having this demon as a "fermiliar spirit" causes bad karma, kind of along the same lines as putting magnets together causes them to lose their power. One time I saw her was at a Ralphs in east Anaheim. We were both in the check-out line and had hand baskets. The insane thought "We're both going to Hell in a hand-basket". Marcus at this time was having unsettled thoughts about areas in his personal life. This was on a Wednesday afternoon October 7th. 1987. The next morning his world fell apart. Marcus remembers the squeaky brakes from the bus at the bus stop. These hurt his ears. He muses that since them his hearing has gotten dulled so that it wouldn't matter. Marcus observed several "signtings" after he had moved out in 1988 near his new place. One time he saw her on a bus on his way to church sunday morning in August 1988. He had just played "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf" on VCR the previous night and made remarks based on the movie and oddly enough, she picked up on them. Two years ago Marcus again began having therapy sessions with Dr. Crane, but the meetings wern't held on this planet but at a Federation dezignated "safe spot" because he lost his liscense to practice on this planet.

I've been reading that "American Theocricy" book. It's divided up into three main segments. The first part involves Oil dependancy. The second part is a historical treaties on religion in America. The third part is on America's mounting economic debt. It's this part I wish to address. Debt of all sorts exploded, and I mean exploded off the charts starting about 1983. The national budget deficet soared to 216 Billion or 6.5% of G D P or something, which is twice the previous all-time record in 1946. Corporate debt ballonned, as did personal debt. What you can add to this list now is our national trade deficet with our trading partners. You might say over the past 25 years we have become credit junkeys in a big way. The best decider of the future is past conduct and history tells us that we are headed for one whopper of an economic depression, and it might already be too late. The figures are "off the charts" right now.

Elvis Presley talking to Larry Geller has spoken of karmic debt. He talked of all these religious charletons who promise you the moon if you'll give them an offering for the Lord's work doesn't go bankrupt. If there were a spiritual poverty meeter, the world would look very different through that camera lenz than it looks normally. Jesus Christ on KFI probably thinks I am after him. His karma is after him! That's the truth. He has screwed over so many people and so many facts I have absolutely no desire to be him on the day of reconning. One time in 1983 I had sort of a vision of these magnetic flux points in Orange County. The center of these flux points was about the Freeway loup interchange between the Orange and the 22 and the Santa Ana Freeway. I believe it's called the orange crush. I used to ride it every week to group therapy in 1970 but we were going to get off that. Anyhow picture a giant X or cross sckiewed about 23 degrees to the left in the four cardinal directions. Now picture another giant X or cross skiewed to the right 23 degrees. Now at the time in 1983 Calvary Anaheim was in Garden Grove on the flux line skewed to the right. When the church moved in mid 1985 the church stayed on this flux line. But in 1983 back to my origional vision- - I saw in the spirit realm this church moving to Anaheim Blvd. on a flux line skewed to the left. I saw its "charge" being disapated away. Then I saw the church heating up and sinking into a hole in the earth kind of like a China Sidrone nuclear melt-down. I had no idea in 1983 this church would actually move to Anaheim Blvd. but they did just that in 1992. The karmic Jury is still out on this one.

This is Sunday July 9, 2006 and they are having Ringo day on KLSX. They featured Ringo on Beatle Brunch but that station was having a bit of static. I decided I’d avail myself of a review of the Maharishi. In a call just before seven on the Jesus Christ show, Jesus responded to someone (gender?) who had been shot in the face as follows: “What you make of this is your own choice, but if you’re really a Christians others will see you and ask how you get through it and you’ll be able to tell them in such a way that will attract them to Christianity”. Again this is a lot of crap. I have undergone many milder “events” in my life and none of them have “attracted other people” to Christianity. People don’t think that way. If people see you have a “problem” of any sort they don’t come up to you as some lamp post for guidance to their own lives. If anything they will back away from you, as if the “problem” were contagious. But John and George were talking about the Maharishi and going to Wales or wherever and then Brian Epstein died in late August- - - if the Maharishi could deal with or help them accept that, how is he any different than Jesus, except better. Because George remarked that the spiritual state of people in India attracted them when they saw it. “Who Am I?” dates back to 1968. As per the dates they first landed in India in February 16th. 1968. Ringo and Maurine Cox left there March 1st. because they couldn’t hack the spicy food. Paul and Jane left on March 26th. because they were bored. Origionally they were all supposed to have stayed there three months as part of a “program” and after that the Maharishi wanted the Beatles to set up and head London headquarters. As to the Sexy Sadie stuff- - John and George hung around for that and departed India on April 12th. So the period they were there spans two months or almost double the period I thought they spent there. Magic Alex showed up and he was the one who spread roomers about the Maharishi’s sexual escapades. The Federation’s position on this is that the two things are divorced from one another. Just because a person has a sexual appetite should not disqualify them from providing spiritual instruction. But now it looks like perhaps the charges may be groundless to begin with. Magic Alex is a bit of a flake and a blow-hard to begin with. He had these phoney-bologna “inventions” he was always trying to impress John with. Two other songs were rather anti the whole experience. “I’m so Tired” was written because John got physically tired meditating & couldn’t sleep. People became sick and the Maharishi was rather nieve about doctors, saying all pain was sin and “stuff” coming out. Mia Farrow’s sister locked herself away meditating and wouldn’t come out and John says “She got really Mental” (as in illness) and “In the West they’d hospitalize them”.

Jesus seems to have reversed himself on mental illness. Now he says that if you preach against the church it may be because you are demon possessed. He’s backed off from his “mouse with a flash light” analogy. Maybe there’s been an “incident”.

Last night on dateline there was this one case of cops investigating a garden variety murder in Memphis the night before Elvis’ death day. There seemed nothing extraordinary about the case. I imagine this sort of mix-up of “lack of definition” occurs all the time. That one Chris fellow spent three weeks in jail but he got away with that one robbery entirely and never did time for that. I don’t regard the “twists and turns” in the case as all that unusual. I had news and then Chris Matthews on last night. Then I had “Friends” on KTLA.

The issue has been raised whether Y-FI or whatever it’s called is OK to steal. Can you “steal” wireless internet from your neighbor. I disagree with NBC. You can’t “steal” something that’s in your own house. They are bombarding you with those radio waves wanted or not. If they mess up your equipment they won’t care. It’s like having a neighbor’s tree hanging way over your fence and you want to trim it. Leagally you have the right and I maintain this is a case of the same thing. Leo says that “support” for old software should go back ten years. I agree. But it doesn’t. Leo says that if you re-install your system runs faster. My system ran much slower when Joe did it. I really need a microphone on this computer. I already have the icon on my blue board. That way I could have asked Leo a question like they were doing for today’s show.

My personal oppinion about "riding tail winds", which is the best analogy I cam come up with, is that people are going to do what they need to do to get ahead. If you don't you are consigned by Google to the back of the bus. And you may be riding in the back of the bus all your life if you don't do something about it. Rep. Ted Stevens from Alaska is the third oldest member of congress, so I'm told. He may well be like your crazy grandpa. He's against byte equality. If the internet is just one big popularity contest, and I guess it is, I guess the more "pornographic" or "purient", the better. I know this: If you win in Las Vegas they have you investigated to make sure you aren't cheating by "their" standards. Their definition of "cheating", of course, is to come up with any way of beating the house they cant control. Challenging "the house" is kind of like going up against God. You know it's a rigged crap game in advance. Jesus and the Christians see mental illness the way Superman sees kryptonite. It's a weapon they're afraid of. It's not that they're against insanity, because they ARE insane; it's just that they want to corner the market on it, kind of like the Bomb. If they controle it everyone is safe. But as Rush says "I illustrate absurdity by being absurd". Some times you have to shake up the cobwebs a bit to keep people on their toes.

The Ultimate Golden Parachutes

Well by now we all know about Ken Lay, who was the founder of Enron and was convicted for securities fraud a couple of months ago and how he died of a massive corinary yesterday. When I first heard the news I thought perhaps it was God judging him and sending him to face judgement a little earlier than planned. I mused on whether or night he might have been preached to and accepted Jesus at the last moment and gotten to heaven. Well, it turns out yesterdays hypothetical theory is today's reality. Lay was a devout and favored church member in Houston so his standing with the Lord is good and solid. Of course his fellow churchmen are all sympathetic to him and his family and are sad that he's gone. They see him as a good guy. In the world of Ken Lay he can die and basically pick up where he left off being chummy with rich people and thumbing his nose at the rank and file investor. He hurt a lot of people financially. He rigged the economic statistics to indicate the Corporation was in far better financial shape than it was. When bankruptsy finally came, Ken Lay has his "golden parachute". He could retire in style and confort while investors and holders of pension funds and stock holders all took a bath financially, and were wiped out. Of course he's friends with President Bush but we can't be sure how friendly because the President obviously wants to downplay the relationship. Really they should rewrite scripture to say, "How difficult it is for a poor man to get into the Kingdom of Heaven" because if you're poor you're looked down upon. Gene Scott seemed to have conflicts with people who complained about all the reserved seats that apparently wern't properly marked- that were set aside for Rich People, his favored friends. You know the saying, "Money doesn't talk; it swares". If you are rich you can buy respectability. Of course you know about Chelsea on Days of our Lives. Chelsea's grandmother, Kate basically bought off a cop to supress evidence, thus perverting justice. Rich people want the estate tax done away with so all of that "obscene wealth" can remain and grow unabaited. We know how the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.

What corporations are doing is mis figuring the pension funds by mixing in the pensions of the CDO's in with the workers when it comes to judging whether the "funds" have "sufficient amounts of money" to pay out, and if the don't then the workers' pensions get cut but not that of the C E O's. Also there is some Republican bill to retroactively forgive all of the suits by workers against pension funds. Of course to hear Rush Limbaugh or Larry Elder talk, pensions are too big of an expense of corporations opperating budget anyhow.

It would seem as if there is some cosmic hand directing events to insure that Christianity is the exclusive domain of right wing Republicans. I haven't heard much from Bob Dylan lately. Of course I have always disliked his song "Searve Somebody" because it contradicts every former Dylan axiom such as "Don't follow leaders". Of course the Asshole from El Paso is another pastor who has gotten where he is by preaching hate and prejudice. Christianity didn't start out that way, but this is what it's become. I think the time has come when Christianity will undergo a gigantic spiritual Civil War, and that day may already be here. All of these biggots who blaspheme the core (former) principles of Christianity every time they open their mouths such as Larry Elder, are really, in a spiritual sense, tools of Satan. This church of today which caters to the rich and con men and crooks, is just the sort of Church that makes Satan very happy. I guess I just have to wonder just as there is often some insestuous love affair between the democratic and republican parties, where God and Satan don't have some back door compromize deal going down. I think the trends of today will become increasingly more and more apparent wich each passing year and each passing decade.

Joe Lieberman has his own version of the "golden parachute" in the 2000 election. If Joe would have won, because of the fact he was running for the senate, that seat would have fallen into Republican hands, according to KTLK radio, and the Republicans could have organized the senate. At least when Johnson ran for the senate in 1960 the seat was safe regardless. It seems that Lieberman places his own electoral securety ahead of party loyalty. Now Joe is running as an independant and as a democrat at the same time. He's going to lose his primary election in Conneticut and he wants to run as an independant in the general election and get the endourcements of people such as Anne Coulter and Sean Hannity. I think Senator Joe is on his way out regardless. There'll be one less Presidential stalking horse in the senate.

The whole thing with North Korea and the seven missile launchings will probably ammount to nothing. They are flexing their muscles and are proving impotent to launch even a missile they had successfully launched in 1998. We're worried about a missile they've had for eight years. Of course our space shuttles opperate on technology of the late 'seventies. That's a real eye opener. The thing is if John Kerry did as little about the N C missile launchings as Bush has done all these republicans would be lining up to say what a weak President Kerry was.

In the Rolling Stone recently there was an artical about the Presidential election fraud in Ohio and elsewhere and I would refer you to that. All of the Exit polls indicated Kerry would be our next president and there was a 6.5% disparity between this Exit poll and the actual results. Joseph Stalin once said, "I don't care who votes' it's who counts the ballots that counts". Well the Secretary of State in Ohio was a Republican and he threw out three hundred thousand ballots right off the bat. Eighty thousand more votes were abartrarily switched from John Kerry to George Bush. Exit poll experts say such a divergence from projections is virtually unheard of, and in fact in other countries Exit polls are used to pinpoint election fraud later on. There were only four states where Kerry out performed the Exit polls. In the other 46 states Bush came out ahead. In areas where Bush was the furthest ahead the Exit polls trailed by over ten percent of the actual results. One looking at the results would say ballots were double counted that were pro Bush. But there was a massive cover-up by the media and the people at the national TV Networks in New York. In fact in internet sites they actually withdrew the actual Exit poll numbers and replaced them with other numbers so people wouldn't get suspicious. People like Tom Brokov made statements such as "Exit polls are an inexact science even today", which is not the case. The point is that this great "Mandate" of 51% of the votes Bush claims to have had is a myth. We need to insure this doesn't happen again.

This blog has gone nearly 24 hours without posting. If it continues not to post I'll "mouse" it off of this edit page and start a whole other blog where I don't have these sorts of problems. This is exactly why I don"t "stack" blog postings more than I do.

There is a letter varification on this page as well as the next page. Normally I don't have the slide bar down this low. Perhaps this has affected posting. The Joe Lieberman - Ned Lemont debate was last night and Ed Schultz is discussing it today on July 7th. a day after the rest of the blog post. I would vote for Ned Lemont if I were in Conneticut and a Democrat.

President Hillary

Yes, it was a dirty campaign, the campaign of 2008. The Republican candidate for president spared no expence is talking about Hillary's "female rants", which was her campaign style. He even made allusions to there being some foreign crisis and Hillary or any woman getting P M S and doing the wrong thing in a crisis. The pools showed her trailing significantly on election day but Mrs. Clinton said the Bush bragades controled the Polls. Yeah, it's Jeb Bush running. On election day voting was unusually heavy and when Hillary pulled ahead Jeb was scared. But when she actually won the election by one electoral vote he was horrified. There was talk about tying up the election in the courts asking for recounts in Ohio, but in the end Jeb Bush decided to letr Mrs. Clinton claim her long coveted prize that she had sold her soul and sold out on the issues for.

Before Mrs. Clinton could even be inogurated North Korea and Iran both settled Nuclear treaties with the current Bush adminestration. They were mad because if they'd had these before the elction perhaps Hillary would never have won. Nevertheless it completely liberated Hillary up to deal more with domestic issues. She really milked this fact, some say, to death during one of the longest Inogural speech any President has given in seventy years.

. Let’s talk about the accomplishments of Hillary’s two terms in office. Smoking was banned nation-wide just about everywhere including in your car and in your own house, if children have been known to be around. Junk foods such as breakfast cereals have been banned from the air waves. The deficit problem was solved and Hillary ran up the biggest surpluses ever seen, and once again the Republicans moaned about giving it back. Hillary’s first two years were under a democratic congress but she often had to contend with a republican congress. In her first two years she nominated and got passed the first out of the closet lesbian for the job of Supreme Court Justice. It was a short time after that that Justice Sutor admitted that he was gay. Throughout Hillary’s administration troops remained in Iraq, austensively as “peace keeping” but the violence never went away. Stem cell research was actively supported by the government and amazing new discoveries were realized. Gun sales were restricted but one of the most far-reaching bills was struck down by the Supreme Court in her first two years. In general crime levels dropped to a level not seen in seventy years. New Orleans got their levy to withstand a level five Hurricane. Cases were tried where parents were successfully prosecuted for child abuse for not utilizing their V chips. New internet restrictions were reinstated. The Supreme Court said once again that copy protection software was OK and there was an avalanche of companies putting intrusive copy protection software on their products. HDTV became the standard for the TV viewing public. TV as we know it became almost a thing of the past and in the later years there was a move by the FCC to take back TV broadcast frequencies for other uses and commercial TV was in danger of becoming a thing of the past. This brought forth a parade of angry poor people before congress saying that the new FCC moves were inherently racist. There was a rash of small churches being bulldozed due to liberalized Eminent Domain laws and utilization of property by cities. When Hillary Clinton nominated an avowed Atheist for the Supreme Court in her second term there was a howl of protest from the republican congress. Hearings dragged on for months and were a media spectacle, but in but in the end, it passed. In general there was all around praise for the Clinton administration from the talking heads at the round table.

Interestingly, just like her husband sixteen years earlier, Hillary was unable to transfar her carisma and popularity to the next democratic candidate and the republican tide was once again on the rise as the 1916 candidate promosed the ever popular "Less government interferance in the future".

And now we have a "Make-an album" for your dancing and dining pleasure. This will be the last of these compilations, in real time that is, that we put out as an internet suggestion. We had to make a song change in our Pink Floyd track because the running time was too long for one CD.

The Conscience of a Captive Youth

THE FOLLOWING WAS FROM MY PERSONAL NOTES IN APRIL OF 2005

Jane Fonda was on last Sunday as all the voices from the far right remind us. My initial response was to say nothing. Certain things just are what they are. Jane Fonda is on a life path and has to pursue her own course twords “God” or whatever. You know it’s a Catholic teaching that to be true to God is to follow your continence. I say that because it is notably not a teaching of churches I go to. It stands to reason if you’re logical about it that there are “many paths to God” because not everybody is in the same place. They’re coming from different locations. Sean Hannity said some things the other day I basically agree with. He said that we all have that God-consciousness inside us and we all inherently know what’s right. (You’ll get in trouble saying that in an academic class room) I agree with that. Once again were I asked to sacrifice my son, as Abraham was, I would decline as a conscientious objector. I, as it were, would be committing a “sin of conscience”. I think what we can call Jane Fonda’s sin is a sin of conscience. As you may or may not know, Tim came out and said at the time that what Jane Fonda was doing was wrong. I myself had no official position back then. I do believe there is a point where you’re doing something other than Protesting, that lapses into error. Let’s talk about Christianity for a bit. Christians after the crucifixion of Christ did not go out and attack the Roman government or burn down Pilate’s house or get lobbyists out to change the Roman laws and “protest this horrible injustice to insure that it never happens again.” The difference between a Conservative and a liberal is that conservatives think in terms of individuals. Liberals tend to think in terms of what is best for masses of people. No. Instead the Christians went on a Roman ass-kissing orgy in essence saying to the Romans, “We’re your friends. Trust us and we’ll help you oppress the Jews more effectively; we can be your propaganda ministers”. Let’s get one thing straight. Jane Fonda said she loved her country and cared about the troops, and said she committed a horrible lapse in judgement she will take to her grave. You could tell she meant it by the tone in her voice. But I find it necessary to remind people like Larry Elder just what the historic context of her going to Hanoi was. As she said, the war had been going on for eight years. The Gulf of Tomkin resolution was passed in August 1964. Congress had repeatedly passed resolutions against the War. One was for the complete withdrawal of troops as of June 30th. 1971. This was changed to December 31st. 1971. It’s funny that lately there’s been this conservative revisionist history. You might be able to sell it at the dorky military academy where your son goes, but not to me, who lived through it. The officer Larry had on says the problem began when we won the Tet Offensive and the media lied to us and Walter Cronkite lied and said we lost it and so because of CBS news, masses of people turned against the Viet Nam War. Let me give you reality. The war was a bone of contention as far back as the Republican Primary in 1964 when Rocke-feller people ran adds quoting Barry Goldwater saying he would expand the war and drop a “low yield atomic bomb” on Chinese supply lines in Laos and Viet Nam. The protest grew in 1965 when people like Donavin began putting out anti war songs. I myself turned against the War in early 1966. That spring I was in a Current Events class where the War was a hot topic of discussion. By September of 1967 the majority of people had turned against the War when it became clear we were only going to escalate. I need to also remind you that in 1972 when Jane Fonda went to Hanoi, as she said- nothing else was working. And to this day there are hosts on talk radio saying “If only we had pur-sued the war harder in 1972 we would have won the war”. We were being lied to. The Gulf of Tomkin resolution was based on a purely fabricated event. We were lied to about the extent of our involvement in Cambodia and this act became an article of impeachment with Nixon in 1974 that ended up not passing. Need I also remind Larry that John Kerry made the same statements against the war in 1971 and he was nominated for President.

. I myself would dread the notion of my own son saying to me or another that he thought his father is a Coward. Gene Scott has said that he wants his kids to trust him above all else. It’s not my son’s job to believe in Me, it’s My job to believe in him. If there arises a situation where my son cannot trust me I know we have a more serious on our hands. I will know that I have grievously failed my son. No son wants to think of his father as a coward. The trouble with the people of Harmony is few of them have the moral balls to stand up to Evil, even when they clearly know where it’s coming from. Again I say if I were Luis the time I had those CD’s on the Crane empire I’d ask my own mother whether she would be willing to make a noble sacrifice for a higher cause. Up until very recently and perhaps even now, I believed in moral karma. That if you did an extremely brave act you would get a better after-life.

I wanted to mention the Dr. Phil show. We hear a lot about the “divide and conquer” strategy of children against parents. I was morally opposed to it as a kid watching Divorce Court and I still think it’s wrong. You don’t know how morally outraged I was when Mrs. Valasquez back in March of 1970 said that my parents were divided on how to deal with me and it was affecting their marriage, and that it was somehow my fault. That goes against every thing [my name] stands for. Children need to learn at some age that this is a world of adults and not kids. Children don’t call the shots. You shouldn’t be able to blackmail parents in a divorce situation and Judges shouldn’t fall for it. In point of fact their marriage proved indestructible and believe me there’d be a lot bigger issues than me and the “Less filling- - tastes great!” argument. There is this fourteen year old daughter that has every vice in the book. She has failing grades, she parties all the time and behind her parents’ back and damages the house. She smokes, drinks, has sex, and uses drugs. The father is trying to discipline her but does not seem to be up to the task. The daughter is nursing some illusions about her original father getting back with her sympathetic mother and this is driving a wedge between the parents. Short of dropping an Atomic Bomb, I don’t know what else the father can do. Perhaps he could get Dr. Phil to ship her off to Happy Valley or whatever that place is in Texas. At this point a little “tough love” like an arrest or time in jail just might shock her back into reality. I wanted to talk about whether I view my own parents as “Cowards” in dealing with the varied domestic problems. I don’t even think what they did qualifies them as “Cowards”; they are several rungs down on the moral scale than that. You see it takes a certain amount of balls to send your son at age 17 and still in High School to Vocational “Re-Hab”. It’s the wrong solution and the wrong age. And then to say you want your son to be assigned a Counselor for the Mentally Ill makes the person saying it look a little suspect. As if they have some “problem” they can’t deal with and try and pawn it off on the state. Gladys Presley loathed the idea of turning to the State for anything. She had more character in her little finger than my parents have in their whole body. But this act isn’t “Cowardly”. Indeed she runs the risk of looking like a complete asshole, especially considering her profession. It could be argued that she subsequently paid a price, but I don’t want to get into that least I be accused of hitting below the belt.

Let’s talk a little about Richard Nixon. As you know the dates on that latest compilation, 1969 – 1974, are the same as the years of Nixon’s Presidency. Actually only two songs qualify for 1974, and early 1974 at that. Nixon in February of 1972 made an overture to Mao Tse Tung, who is responsible for the deaths of more people than just about any world leader who’s ever lived. And in the process we stabbed an old friend in the back who had been our ally since the days of World War II. Nixon is hardly one to talk about “national loyalty”. Nixon was not a real conservative. But he did have one thing going for him: image. He is the one who made hatred of liberals, protestors, and just about any other minority group fashionable with his “Great Silent Majority” speech in November 1969. At this point I became utterly opposed to him, if I wasn’t before. This legacy has lasted to the present day and is alive and well in places like the Rush Limbaugh show. People in the ‘30s, ‘40s, 50’s, and ‘60s didn’t feel this way. Indeed when someone like Joseph McCarthy came along, he cane off as a nut case. So I guess it’s fitting that someone of Larry’s views would find audience at the Nixon library. The crowd cheered wildly when Larry Elder said that the way to solve the immigration problem is to eliminate all government roads, schools, and other social services. Larry just doesn’t “get it” when faced with the reality of Latinos driving down the wage base. You know I hate to bring this up but our message to Mexico just maybe should be, “Thou shalt not covet”. The way to solve the “inequity” is not to drag your neighbor down to the same level of poverty you yourself has. But Larry doesn’t seem to get that. I have a suggestion for Larry. Using his own logic, perhaps we should privatize the military. If Larry is right they will do it more efficiently, with less beaurocratic overhead, and will pay the people a decent wage “as the market would demand”. You know, corporations have a board of directors they have to account to. If they screw up and pay $50,000 for a toilet seat the stock holders will be unhappy. “See you in the funny papers, Larry!”

Guess what? We are at that identical 50,176 or whatever byte count figure of two previous files. So we’ll bring up another topic. Let’s talk about Martin Luther King. I guess it escaped that Military Officer’s notice but the reason why there were so many riots is that one of the greatest Black leaders of all time had just been cut down, assen-ated. I think we should move Martin Luther King’s holiday to April 4th. the date of his death. As it is it’s too close to the Superbowl, which will be a national holiday some time. Moving it to April 4th. would put it close to Easter. Better yet I suggest we cele-brate Malcolm X’s life. As you know I call myself the “Malcolm X of Christianity”. He crusaded for racial equality on a world wide scale and amongst various religions, as well as crusading against religious hypocrisy in High Places, not to mention moral fidelity in marriage. Martin Luther King is not exactly spotless in this area, as J. Edger Hoover will attest. I think Malcolm’s message to Black people in having Black Pride, is a better one than King’s increasing insistence that minorities turn to the government for hand-outs.

I don’t know what tomorrow will bring. You know, if you do want to look to the Bible for what the after-life will be like, in my reading of it you’re promised a resurrect-ion from the dead in another 12 or 15 Billion years, or whenever the Universe comes to an end. So what survived death? Bob Howland stated in a sermon that on that Day that God would “remember” us. He’d remember our DNA or whatever else that causes us to be us. When Lennon wrote the last song on Revolver- - I imagine “Mark I” seemed a good initial title. But when he got to thinking about Death and all he had to come to the conclusion, “Tomorrow Never Knows”. That’s just a theory.

We have one more rock compilation we'll do at this time. There are songs from 1968 like "I Can See For Miles" by the Who ("Miles" is spoken 57 times?) we may get to sometime but I can't say when.
