Well, we have some
words to put in our vocabulary like “Thanksgivikah” and also talking about
preparing the “Minurkey”. There was
even that Jewish style song about the minurkey that I honestly wish Nicole
Sandler had played more of. Nicole is
thankful for gay adoptions. It seems as
if “November 23rd” is “Adoption Day”. It seems even in Florida that gay couples
virtually have the right to adopt children or at least apply as a “co parent”. I’m sure Dennis Prager is having fits about
now. Nicole is thankful that Harry Reid
finally grew a pair and decided to take back the majority’s voting power, which
apparently was done just last Thursday, though it seems longer ago than
that. Nicole is thankful that Senator
Bernie Sanders is thinking of running for President. As someone on the radio said recently “We don’t
have a two party system; we have a One Party system, and that’s why the
establishment fights so hard against the creation of any other political party”. It’s almost a sick religion for us American,
and like a religion it’s based more on near “doctrinal” notions than it is on
any practical necessity. But of course
if you’re in a Hobby Lobby store you won’t find any Jewish feast supplies in
there because it’s a Christian run store and they want you to know it. Therefore they don’t want any of their
employees being covered for birth control pills. Perhaps this is a silly thought, but what law
says you have to USE a service- - just because it’s covered by your insurance
policy. I’m sure there are a lot of
things on my medical insurance I’ll never use. Do Jehovah’s Witnesses have the right to deny
their employees blood transfusions, even if it’s to save their lives? I’ve thought about this today and from a
strictly legal standing, if this case ever goes to the Supreme Court - - it
seems pretty obvious that we have certain laws for the private sector, such as
Religion, and quite another for entities in the public sector that are out to
make a business profit. Business has to
comply with all sorts of rules. If I
were president I’d say “Just make any damn rules you want”, but we live in the
real world here and even this Court has to respect legal precident. Then there is the case of the Pizza Hut
manager who wanted to give his employees the day off on Thanksgiving and the
corporate higher ups said “Oh no you don’t.
If you do that, you will be fired”.
Why in God’s name in a small town like Elkert, Intiana- - do you have to
sell pizza on Thanksgiving Day if you don’t want to. Every congressman gets a whole week off for
every holiday and you know these corporate big whigs are spending the day with
their families. It’s this sickness we
have these days in pursuit for the almighty dollar. And if Pope Francis wants to issue a 256 page
“bull” or whatever it’s called condemning the evils of capitalism, then God
bless him. Rush Limbaugh is right. Some “force” IS directing Pope Francis. It’s called the Bible. It’s called the Holy Spirit. “Ever hear of God, Rush?” For Rush Limbaugh to attack the Catholic
Church the way he did is suicidal. After
all we need all those good Catholics to vote for Newt Gingrich or Pat Buchannon
the next time they run for President.
Mario was talking about Social pathology in
the last hour and whether there is something organically amiss in the brains of
criminal types that renders them unable to empathize with anyone other than
themselves. Some things are easier to
understand than others. For instance I
can almost see a mafia hit squad “operating professionally” and moving in to
bump somebody off they don’t know and obviously will never meet. It’s quite another thing like on the soap
opera for Kate and Samantha to conspire to “cover up a murder”especially when
the victim is not dead with, and it’s a victim both of them know well, so the
police will know the first people to put on the suspects list. I guess Kate didn’t like Nick because he
kept consistently making so much money for her that it just got boring after a
while. And so now “Not telling the whole
truth about a personal matter- - merits the Death Penalty”. That’s even worse than what President Clinton
faced. But I digress. I used to believe environment was everything
and that people learned everything they know, including the nature of how they
express emotions. And a lot of research
has been done with Simians in this area.
(That’s “monkeys” for you people in Rio Linda) In autistic children they speak of “reestablishing
emotional pathways. Returning to the
soap opera again- - I found the way E J Di Mira was talking with Eric very
disturbing today. Here is a man who is
completely tone deaf when it comes to even the most basic human morality or
compassion. I’d get out of that house
too. It’s like talking to a demon or
something. People with true sociopathic
traits are scarey; there’s no doubt about that. How can you go into something like slave
trading as a profession and consider yourself at all “normal”?
From yesterday in my
notes - - Alex Jones apparently believes that the great majority of these mass shootings
are the fault of liberals, because somehow liberals are Violent at heart. Supposedly this is because they are into
drugs and the occult and all. Apparently
Alex Jones thinks Charles Manson is your typical mass murderer which he
certainly is not. We heard all sorts of
things in that “2016” movie that didn’t come to pass. If President Obama ever got a second term he’d
be unstoppable because he’d never again have to run for election and he could
do whatever he wanted to in terms of executive orders. And he was more assuredly going to
conthiscate the guns of every American citizen.
Of course I also heard that because of some carbon energy tax California
has now- - that California’s economy would collapse and that hasn’t
happen. But as the Who sang it, “Fools
start the Roomers; none of them are True”.
In better news my
blogger numbers have apparently been re-figured upward, because yesterday (?)
was a 108 figure and “today” (?) was a 124.
And I kind of think they are a day behind because the dates don’t line
up. I’m glad to hear it. President Obama’s visit continued and went
off without a hitch. There weren’t any
assassinations or anything. Apparently
the President was talking about how the Hollywood industry is still a source of
a lot of good paying jobs and suggested people apply for all of the technical
production positions now open.
Mario is on right now
and he was talking about these big companies like the DWP that do automatic
deductions of your account and take $1,800 out and you have to talk to five
different people to try and get it back.
But they won’t cover any overdraft fees you may have incurred or your
time and inconvenience. They’ll slap a
late fee on you but you can’t summarily slap a late fee on them. They can record your conversation with them,
but if YOU tell them YOU too are recording the conversation, Mario says if you
try that, they’ll say they’re hanging up on you. Certain things may not be crimes, but they
are definitely torts. If you are guilty
of a theft in the equity world, they do not even take into account criminal
intent, but only economic damage. Of course you remember about the story about the man who put solar panels on his roof and used those instead of the utility grid, but they "estamated his charges" and charged him a whopping bill. At other times when the meter isn't working, rightfully they should let you have that power for free. But instead- - for instance - - if perhaps others were living temporarily in your home at the time and you were gone and then you return and get stuck with the bill- - you see something like $1,800 in "estamated charges". And by the way I hate business people having to send "Tax Due estaments" on an quarterly basis. If I were President I'd abolish that requirement. It's silly and it cheats them out of the use of their own money till the next Tax Day on April 15th. In like manner if the government withdraws too much money from your payroll check, in addition to the tax refund check, the government should also send you an Interest check for the use of your money all year long. Isn't it terrible when you make people be morally consistent?
