Checking right now.
I wanted to save this link because it’s such a good one. Max Blumenthol.
Thom Hartman is
navigating through the maze of economic terms in use, such that in Europe what
we know as a NEO CON is called “Neo Liberal” economics there, because it frees
up corporations to “be themselves” and according to Milton Friedman, if we just
stand back and “unleash the corporate economic” and yank out the entire social
safety net, then the corporate structure will just magically recreate it
all. But the only places where it has
been tried are in Somolia, and Iraq in 2003 and in Chile with Pinochet starting
in 1973. And then you have this term of
Jewish Nazi- - which are Jews who are racists like Nazis, and the Simon
Wiesenthol institute is a racist outfit that calls people “anti-semitic” the
same way that the KKK labels detractors as “anti White” or “Obama hates the
White race”. Israel has loaded
minorities such as the Palestinians with all sorts of racist legislation. Max Blumenthol is labeled by these
hyper-Zionists as “the ninth worst amti-semite in the world”, which clearly is not the case. This guy is one of the greatest creative
geniouses of our time, and a political voice that needs to be listened to a
whole lot more than he is today. This is
his video above where Zionists in Germany tried to shut down his speech when he
was trying to explain some of the weirdnesses of the German government, and how
there is this secret “Israeli lobby” in Germany. Actually this lobby is strangely pro Nazi but
anti Deuch meaning anti German. You need
to watch the whole speech. There was one
line in the thing saying that many from the old communist party joined the
forces of the economic right, which is beyond strange. I got a visit from Bones last night and this
morning and he weighed in on this Ukrainian situation. Bones suggested that if I’m going to invoke
Thom Hartmann to be sure and spell his name correctly because Hartmann is
sensitive about being labeled as Jewish with only one “n” in the name, rather
than two. Our government is funding
Ukrainian Nazis in the campaign against Russia.
And two congressmen tried to get a ban on aid to Nazi groups, but that
they were stopped by elements of the Israeli lobby. I wondered where Bones would weigh in on this
one and he sides with those people who want to exclude the Nazi support. They actually use this “N” symbol with a
vertical slash through the N. Actually
it was a Sirius B symbol invented in the mid nineties for “No Nerds” because
they were doing take-offs on this whole “Captain N” thing where Kevin went
downright psycho- - and kind of evolved into a psycho-killer nerd and captive
of his own delusions. Bones says “Actually
- - the Russians and these Sheldon Adelson types (his name was used a lot) are
all Edomites- - and it’s all part of this whole movement of “You can buy
absolutely anything with money- - including all ethics”. So last night I looked at a number of
blogposts - - and realize that politics indeed make strange bed fellows. Something downright queer is going on - -
with Nazis and Israelis in bed together.
Bottom line is “These groups like Simon Wiesenthol - - are not “Nice” in
that they don’t believe in the usual Universal Peace and Brotherhood, or the
image of all the children from every race holding hands and singing Negro
spirituals. In fact the Israelis have
done everything they can to isolate the Palestinians and keeping them from
assimilating.
There’s nothing but
good news on the economy. Over three
hundred thousand jobs were added last month as figures from previous months
were revised upward, which means the economy was even stronger than we thought-
- which should really mess up the day of permanent gloomsters such as Mort
Zuckerman. While the unemployment rate
remained at 5.8% this is because a lot of people had the downright confidence
to reenter the labor market, and this is only a good thing. People wondered whether Newt Gingrich
prophecy of 2012 would come to pass which went “The minute Mitt Romney is
elected you’re going to see instant optimism break out almost that same day
with banks lending and corporations feeling free to expand their
businesses. I had the question myself as
to whether the American people would “suddenly turn optimistic” now that the
Republicans rules both houses of congress.
The answer is “Yes”. People
indeed are more optimistic now - - and aren’t as worried about immigration or
Ebola or the economy. Imagine that! The trouble is- - these Republicans haven’t
even taken control of congress yet – so there is no way you could see any
effects yet. In fact you’d have to wait
at least several months – to take any meaningful survey on this- - so come and
see me next spring. By the way the
minimum wage was raised to record high levels in 1968 and the equivelant rate
today would be $12.40 or something per hour.
Few if any of the minimum wage rates approved by the voters last
November would raise the rate anywhere near that high. But back then we considered “full employment”
at three percent, and we were at three and a half percent unemployment. At that time some economists said “If we
raised the level of full employment to four percent- - we could reduce
inflation”. Such was the state of the
economy because of the Viet Nam war in 1968 and 1969. Them’s the facts.
Last night Washington’s
blog was upset because oil prices were so low.
These conservatives just have to be upset at SOMETHING, even if it’s
something people like Sean Hannity say they’ve been yearning for- low energy
prices. The writer says “Oh, they’re
just trying to psych us out and setting us up for a higher rise in price. Then in a break of logical mental flow states
“But of course you know that low prices destabilize the world’s economy”. Well that’s all in the eye of the
beholder. If you’re a conservative who
sold out all your stocks five years ago and put your last cent into gold
futures- - then YOUR world is most certainly destabilized. If you’re a Neo Con - - and your moral values
have become nearly worthless in the economy of Heaven in the next world- - then
YOUR whole world will be destabilized. But
let me address the first question.
No. The price of oil isn’t going
up any time soon. If you don’t believe
me then buy oil futures three or six months out and you’ll learn for
yourself. Following the Thom Hartman
law- - - “Big Money” always the opposite of what they are telling you that YOU
should do. Hence- the rich are NOT
guying gold. I think the single most
important thing to remember is “always swim upstream. Always go against what the Media is saying”. You’ll be amazed at how rich you suddenly
are. You guy oil futures now- - and six
months from now you’re not a penny richer.
The reason is simple. The world economy
is depressed and there is an over supply.
There are too many competing alternate energy systems coming on line
now, including natural gas but also wind and solar and tidal. And perhaps the biggest thing is that Russia
has become such a player in the world markets being number two- - rivaling
OPEC. So it stands to reason that if
there is competition- - - and the United States is generating a significant
percent of the world’s petroleum products now- - that the per barrel oil price
is never going back to a hundred and ten dollars an gallon, or whatever it
was. But rather than be all doom and
gloom over it, why not just enjoy it.
Live in the moment. Because
besides commodities future holders- - every other segment of the economy will
benefit from cheap energy prices.
In terms of the
Cleveland police department I had no idea it was so messed up in that Cleveland
was the first major city to elect a Black mayor in the fall of 1967. People have these rosy views of Cleveland as “the
birthplace of Rock and Roll” and one of the first major cities Elvis performed
in in early 1955 along with the more mature Pat Boone, who met each other on
this trip. It’s the city where the term “Rock
and Roll” itself was first coined. The
whole government is screwed up and when the Republicans get control of congress
you’re going to start seeing some really screwey laws passed. They want to cut the income tax credit for
poor people that Richard Nixon is partially responsible for getting
passed. Nixon was opened to new “experimentation”
and as you know once even proposed a health care plan. Clearly even more than a tax CUT, the
Republicans favor a tax SHIFT, of shifting the burden of taxes from the ultra
rich- - to the working class and the poor, which is what Reagan did in
1986. This bill is praised by the right
wing as “tax simplification” but in reality this obscenity was a “tax shift”
and there was a redistribution of income all right, from the poor to the
rich. In Denmark they pay twenty dollars
an hour for hamburger flippers- up to three times what an equalivant US job
would pay. All of these Republicans used to talk about "Northern Europe racial historical perspective" but nowadays they hate these SAME European countries they claimed to have formerly admired- - at least when they were all fighting each other in previous centuries! I'm not sure if there are ANY countries they would like the US to emulate now except perhaps Israel- - or possibly pre liberation South Africa. These appeals appeal to a world that never was- except in their own minds.
