“Psychopaths are unable to form emotional attachments or feel real empathy with others, although they often have disarming or even charming personalities. Psychopaths are very manipulative and can easily gain people’s trust. They learn to mimic emotions, despite their inability to actually feel them, and will appear normal to unsuspecting people… When committing crimes, psychopaths carefully plan out every detail in advance and often have contingency plans in place. Unlike their sociopathic counterparts, psychopathic criminals are cool, calm, and meticulous.”

The US sponsored a governmental coup in Honduras in 2009 to install a repressive government which you’ve heard so much about in the past few years. Why is the Obama “regime” involved in that kind of stuff? We install a Shiite government in Iraq and then get pissed because Iraq is now a vassel of Iran, or so the conservatives claim. When it comes to who we support in the Middle East, I don't know if we're coming or going. Clearly our government's activities in Ukraine are suspect. Rather than have to little defense capabiity- - it seems we have so many armed forces and weaponry we don't know what to do with it all, so we instigate wars that would not have otherwise started- - almost as if we're bored or something. There is something just slightly sociopathic about all this. Our government does seem to be lacking in any real sense of Empathy for the poor and down trodden of the world. It would seem as if we opperate from the motto of "The poor are expendable, but the rich must be protected from the consequences of their own actions at all costs. I've heard Republicans complain about "picking winners and losers" in the Obama-Bush massive Wall Street bail-out of October of 2008. Legislators were told if they didn't vote for the bail out that all sorts of dire things, including the imposition of marshal law, would occur within two weeks. We now have a situation where President Obama gladly risks every bit of whatever credibility he had left, in supporting the Trans Pacific Partnership. It now seems it's only a matter of time before this nightmare piece of legislation will become a trans-global Reality we'll have to live with for decades.
Tom Brady met with NFL leaders today forty days and forty nights after Tom Brady's suspension hoping to reduce his punishment of missing a full quarter of the upcoming football season.
One thing I've wondered about is for a while they were grinding out Star Trek movies to beat the band. How come they don't show these on TV like they used to show Star Wars movies on TV all the time or Harry Potter movies all the time? Most of the techy stuff that's out today is less true "Science fiction" than some other plot in a high tech setting. Maybe we need the next Star Trek type movie to- - - start fresh with the facts we know today- - rather than the facts we knew about fifty years ago when Star Trek first came out. Or would people be too bored if we actually put "science" in science fiction?
Now the Confederate Flag will be harder to purchase because Amazon and E Bay and Wall Mart and Target and Sears will stop selling it. Of course, like guns at times during the early days of the Obama Administration, guns were flying off the shelves. It will take a two thirds vote of both houses of the South Carolina legislature to have the Confederate flag removed from the state capitol. That doesn't appear likely to happen. Blacks view the Confederate flag differently from your garden variety White, who merely read about the confederacy in History books and sees the flag as "The banner flown by the losing side" and nothing more. My Alma mater Savanna High, flew the confederate flag a time or two and nobody thought anything about it more than "The Rebels".
Thom Hartmann was on at nine and I left for a punch break at ten. I hung out a long time wearing that striped heavy shirt. Andrew was here with Glenda. Everybody else except Donald were in short sleeves. Cigarettes were hard to come by all day. I’ve only had three whole cigarettes all day. One early in the morning (from Donald?) and one from Lishia right after Glenda gave Bill one. And Glenda gave me one in the afternoon after snack time and before I got in the long and slow line to see Dr Saran. I felt tired of standing and eventually got to sit in a chair that wasn’t being used. There were a lot of wheelchairs in line. Dr Saran again asked if I wanted a colonoscopy since I was now 65. My temperature was 98.8 and my blood pressure was a little shallow at 110 over 90. Olivia was here when I returned to the room after three. I knew I had money but Jennifer began calling names just before two. It didn’t make people more willing to part with their cigarettes, though. I got iced tea in the afternoon. Today in Soap land - Nicole and Eric were rescued from that boiler room or whatever and both of them were passed out cold. When Daniel and the good guys got there - Nicole had no pulse and kept talking about preparing to die. Real life has it's pitfalls too in people's lives. Glenda is taking perpiset starting tomorrow which is a stronger drug than Morphine. She’ll be taking it four times a day for pain mainly in her legs, which is horrible. She told me the experts say she only has one year to live and to get her affairs in order, like a burial site. It was a hot day today and I took off that heavy striped shirt a little after lunch. I had that Mark fellow on standing in for Sean Hannity. We had turkey tetrazzini for dinner - - that tube pasta stuff. We had spinach and garlic bread with it and strawberry ice cream for dessert. There were no seconds.
