Before you dial away in a mad rush, I'm not talking about what you think. I'm not talking about turning the clock back a hundred years to 1908 on our social morays. What I'd like to talk about a little in this paragraph, though is the drugging of America by the FDA and America's doctors. If you are in LA and saw the thing on channel eleven this morning, the speaker said that "they" want all of America to be increasingly dependant on more and more drugs all of the time. I, with my Scientologist leanings find this most disturbing. For instance it was stated that Prozac and other seratonin blockers only work thirty percent of the time. The other 70% of the people who take this medication such as Prozac remain depressed. If you sold an herb that did not work seventy percent of the time they'd have it banned by the FDA. Apparently the FDA has proclaimed that if a substance isn't a drug, it cannot be used to cure a disease. Therefore an orange would be illegal to sell if you're searching for a cure from scurvy. Not only that but it was said that flax seed oil in a bran muffin can be used instead of chemotherapy for a woman recovering from breast cancer surgery. Now others are echoing Dr. Dean Edell's dictum that "vitamines give you cancer" or at least vitamine E does. A hundred years ago opium was legal and there were few addicts. If you leave it to private citizens, they have enough sense to know which drugs to take and not to take. In one book on Jesse James I read, it said while Jesse didn't drink, he often took medical potions with opium and other elixers in them. Of course this was also back in the era before bigoted immigration policies, but that's another issue.
Johnny Wendell was questioning whether Bill Cosby has the right to tell "the Black community" either how to raise their kids or what values to have. All I can say is being a TV Dad on a basically a "white" comedy with an all Black cast doesn't qualify Bill Cosby as a socialogist. The thing is seeing it as a "Black community" seems to imply that Black people are somehow fundamentally different from a "white" or any other color "comunity" and not just ordinary people wanting the best for their kids and neighborhood just like everyone else.
Of course in politics we are returning to that "Old Time Religion" of smoke filled back rooms and people making deals. Clinton has a hammer lock on the party structure and it's clear without some "organization" that Clinton can't beat Obama in a fair caucus or primary fight. Of course some "Karl-Rove-esque" tacticts used by Hillary are alarming to even sympathetic democrats. I needn't enumerate these. Just catch Randy Rhodes' show yesterday afternoon, March 7th. When she says "Mc Cain and I bring experiance to the job and all Obama brings is a speech" she really is hitting desperately below the belt. Obama could hit back if he wanted to but the thinking is "the party is going to have to field at least one Undamaged candidate in the fall, and it can't be me". Some might say this is how Jesus Christ got to be messiah. By avoiding the political realities of Palestine in the first century. Of course I was going to vote for John Mc Cain because he spent five years being tortured in a North Vietnamese prison camp. The last time I checked, even Jesus Christ can't claim that. Considering the things Jesus said about the Jewish people when he WASN"T being tortured, I'd hate to think what he'd say about them if he was. That's another topic for another day. Some say Mc Cain went crazy in the prison camp. Of course with the morays of either Jesus Christ on KFI or the Rev. Bill Halliday, the sin gets transferred from perpetrater to victim. It's no longer the Viet Kong's fault for torturing Mc Cain, but rather Mc Cain's fault for BEING tortured. Some have said that Mc Cain is now mentally unstable and that when faced with a crisis with Russia where he might be tempted to press the red button and drop the Bomb, Mc Cain would "snap" and fall to temptation more easily than most. In Christianity it's a sin to be "tested past your breaking point" and just "Snap" and either say or do things you may or may NOT regret in later years. I haven't decided yet whether I'll vote for Mc Cain or perhaps Ralph Nader. Mc Cain is an honorable man despite his lobby connections. He has a humane immigration policy appealing to Latinos. He has a contience when it comes to turturing prison and abusing the Geneva conventions. And Mc Cain has a foreward looking energy policy, which should be appealing even to some "aware" fundamentalists, who believe that God charged us with stewardship of the earth. Also, at least in his more lucid moments, Mc Cain is for a fiscally responsible tax code. Even with all this going for him, it's difficult to see how Hillary Clinton won't end up snapping him like a twig before November.
Another way in which I'd like to return to "That Old Time Religion" is a return to traditional views, expressed for over 25 years, about the Orion Federation. All this time we have said that they didn't travel in space ships using "Warp Power" and in reality not all that much "traveling" was described at all in the writings of me and Mark Campbell and Bill Gunderson. We talked about a sixth dimension. This can be best described as "events have substance". Another mantra is "actions have consequences". In this case, manifestations you can physically see as waves upon a sea of ether. I was just reading up on Einstein today and he said the reason why the Universe at its "edges" expands faster than the speed of light is because "space itself is expanding". Another way of looking at it is the ether is moving out so the sign posts are moved and the maximum speed limit is increased. We have spoken of hyper-space and space folding. Hiperspace can be best defined as leaving the "flat" three dimensional plane of ether's mean level and looking first at the waves and the patterns they form on the ether- - and how there is a whole "image" out there, which is actually composed of Karmic actions. To go Greek on you you might say that the hypo-stasis of events is sixth dimensional reality or substance. As such let me now go on to confirm Jesus Christ's "anti-compernican" and Romanesque statement made a few months back that says "It's impossible to travel faster than the speed of light and man will never accomplish it". I say this in mockery of what the Church said about scientists of the past. Usually if you make such an absolute statement like an "absolute speed limit" you'll be caught with your pants down one of these centuries. Yet such an absolute speed limit can be deduced from Einsteins own work. What this of course means is that Black Holes don't exist, because they CAN'T exist. The Wickipedia refutes the ether theory but that does a lot better job of "Splaining Things" then relativity. Let me illustrate this in a simple example a bright eight year old can get. Suppose you have two dots or points. These are moving away from each other at 3/4ths. the speet of light. According to Newtonian physics it should be IMMITEREAL which dot is moving and which is stationary, or whether both are moving either in the same or in opposit directions. Relativity is obsessed with WHICH spot is standing still. Now if dot A emits a beam of light to B and B emits a beam of light to A at the same time, both beams should arrive at the identical time and travel identical speeds. Not so fast. That's too logical. In fact according to Relativity there is no such thing as a "simotanious" event. In fact the theory says "Well, A could preceed B or in another observation B could preceed A. Not only that but in some arenas A could CAUSE B and in another view B could CAUSE A. Even Timothy Leary would be confused by this statement. But if we play along if B is the one moving 3/4 the speed of light and A is standing still then time on B is slowed down to 1/4 the speed. What this means is the light from A will have to be traveling only 1/4 the speed of the beam going the opposit direction. But the thing is even though B must send the faster beam in order to be "perceived" as simotanious on A, which has faster time, B's time is slower. This means that B has to send its light beam sixteen times faster than the guy on A has to send it for presumably the beans to be "simotanious". Now many now want to go back to the ether in space theory. It makes a lot more sense, huh?
